No one's P.O.V.

Jimin and Jungkook sat there staring at their bowls, trying to absorb the bomb Jungkook's mother just dropped. If it was just her leaving the job, it wouldn't be that hard to handle but both of his parents doing it, all of a sudden, was too much of a shock.

"Stop trying to solve another case Sherlock and Watson. You have school and you don't want to be late. Scram, now." Mrs. Jeon pulled both boys up slightly bringing them back to earth.

Jungkook shook his head and quickly rushed to his room to grab his bag. He said a small goodbye as he moved out. Jimin was already out, by then, and was waiting for him outside the house. When the door closed behind Jungkook, Jimin inched near him and started.

"Hey, I-"

Jungkook didn't let him say another word as he put both of his index fingers in either ear and walked away quickly. He didn't want to hear anything from Jimin but he couldn't really stop his ears from working so he had no other option than to create a distance enough to make the shorter boy stop talking.

Jimin sighed at the reaction and combed his hand through his hair as he followed behind, slowly. This was going to be much difficult than he thought but that's exactly what he was expecting.

The entire day, Jimin tried to talk to Jungkook, walk with him, sit beside him or do anything he could possibly think of but Jungkook avoided him every time without letting him say a single word.

During lunch time Jungkook disappeared from the cafeteria silently so that Jimin couldn't find him. He went to the bathroom and sat there the whole time. Why? Because he needed to think. Granted, he was mad at Jimin and wanted to avoid him today but he had an even more serious problem that he needed to think about.

The revelation from the morning.

His mother was right about the fact that both of his parents had to work a lot. They only got weekends off and even then, they had bundles of papers they would need to take care of, before Mondays. Although they never complained about it, that didn't mean it was not hard on them. They were just enduring it. So it's understandable if they wanted to quit.

But what Jungkook was worried about most was the thought that this would mean sudden cut off of income. How could his parents not think of an alternative before taking this step? He wasn't mad at them. He was worried. If only they had told him sooner he would have gotten himself several part time jobs. How could he find one quickly, now?

Jungkook tugged at his hair and groaned slightly but then quickly covered his mouth. He was still in the bathroom and since no one could see what he was doing inside, that sound could be mistaken for something else. Just as the thought appeared, Taehyung's face popped up along with it and Jungkook was red from head to toe.

He vigorously shook his head and slapped his face with both hands lightly, not to make any sound.

/What the hell? No. Just NO! Why did I.. Ugghh! You have got to be kidding me!/

Jungkook was busy fighting with his mind when a knock jolted him. He sat up straight and held his breath. Why was he scared, though? The question made him realize that he was over reacting, again.

"Kookie, when will you come out? The bell is about to ring any second now?" It was Jimin's sweet and soft voice that could melt any heart, but not Jungkook's. He was still mad at him and he wasn't going to answer him, no matter what.

JUNGKOOK'S P.O.V.

"Kookie?" He asks again. How did he even know I was in here? I was sure that I tricked him.
