Shyama's POV

I looked at the clock and then back at the door.

He really was going to be late today. I knew I'd have to wake him up.

I went into the room and pushed him towards me.

That got him to turn around. I kissed him which he returned.

"Get up! Your gonna be late to work," I said

"Get up! Your gonna be late to work," I said.

"Good morning to you as well," he said.

I glared at him.

"And I don't have work today," he said.

"Oh," I said.

"I got cancelled because my boss is ill," he said. "So why don't you come and lay down?"

"Nah,'' she said.

Atif's POV

Before I could say anything else my phone went off and she left.

Rohan calling, what the hell happen?

"Hello," I said.

"Hey," he said relaxed.

Okay, so it's nothing bad.

"What's up?" I asked.

"Are you both free to go to a party tonight?" He asked.

"What party?" I asked.

"Well, I'm kinda planning a suprise birthday party for my wife," he said. "It was a last minute idea and all the family she has is us three."

"We will be there," I said.

"Thanks," he said.

"No problem," I said and hung up.

I got out of bed and did my morning routine. I went downstairs to have breakfast and tell Shyama about Rohan's idea.

"Sounds good," she said.

"That means we have to go and buy a gift," I said.

"I'm her sister. She's already blessed enough," she said.

I wanted to laugh but held it in.

"I was thinking something that she would actually like," I said.

I was joking around but my the look on her face was indescribable.

"Atif!" She yelled at me.

I burst out laughing.

"I hate you," she said walking away.

I knew she didn't mean it but it was just hilarious.

Aaryahi's POV

Today would be the first birthday I'm spending without my parents. But at least I have my husband. He's literally the best person I could have ever asked for.

I went downstairs to make lunch but it was already prepared by my husband.

"You did this?" I asked and he nodded.

"You deserve some time off today," he said.

I hugged him and we had our lunch.

"I made some dessert as well," he said and went to get it.

Not only did it look good, it tasted amamzing!

"I didn't know I married a chef," I said.

"I can be anything you want," he said.

After eating we went out for a bit. We just went for a walk but it was more than I could have asked for.  I don't need fancy gifts or dates, I need someone that loves me and I got that.

But he insisted we go to a movie, as well so we did.

It was about evening time when we got back.

When we got back to told me to go first.

I realized the door was unlocked but thankfully we lived in a safe area.

"SUPRISE!" Everyone yelled.

I froze. I was so shocked seeing my friends, my brother-in-law and my sister there.

I didn't know what to say.

They all started to say happy birthday to me.

"How?" I asked my sister.

Atif and Rohan were having a conversation.

"Ask your husband. This was all his idea, she said.

I couldn't believe it.

I went to go and change so I looked a bit better.

Rohan was about to walk inside when I walked out.

"Thank you so much," I said hugging him.

"It's not a problem. I love you so much," he said.

"I love you more," I said.

He gave me a kiss and told me to go and enjoy.

"This is for you," Atif said handing me a bag. "I hope you like it. I chose it out."

"Uh-huh," Shyama said.

"Your sister thought you didn't need a gift because you had her," he said.

True.

"F*ck off," she said.

"Oh so now you have a problem with me being honest," he said.

I laughed at them. They were definitely made for each other.

It was soon time to cut the cake and then dinner followed.

Eventually, everyone left.

"So did you have a good birthday?" Rohan asked.

"Yes. The most important reason is that you were here, I said.

"Good, because I'm going to be here with you for a very long time," he said.

"I know," I said. "I love you."

"I love you more," he said.
