This part is not as tense or thrilling, probably quite boring to be honest.

"It's been two weeks, Ned." Peter said sadly, pouting slightly as he rested his arms on the lunch table, resting his chin on his arms.

"Don't lose hope yet, you'll find her." Ned assured Peter, trying to make him feel better about finding you.

"I'm starting to think that she lied about going to this school, I mean I've never seen her around," Peter stated, staring down onto the dark table, looking down at the breadcrumbs laying dead on the table.

"Maybe the timing wasn't right, you know. You go to the ice cream shop everyday after school but when we met her it was definitely not right after school." Ned said, tilting his head at Peter.

"Whatever, maybe I should just give up on her.." Peter mumbled to himself.

"I don't think that that's a good idea, I mean, after all she's the only girl who's actually nice to you other than people on the DC team and Liz and well she's not in this school anymore." Ned shrugged his shoulder.

"Y/n , you do know that Peter is head over heels for you, right? " Michelle asked you in the library, causing you to look up from the book you were reading.

"Not Y/n from Midtown, he's head over heels for the girl from the ice cream shop," you huffed air out of your mouth, sighing at the thought of him not liking every side of you.

"I heard them at lunch." She said, crossing her arms on the table, sliding them down to rest her chin on her crossed arms.

"What did he say?" You asked with hope in your voice.

"Peter thinks you were lying about going to Midtown and he said that he's losing hope on finding you." Michelle said and continued to read off her book. "You better go back to that ice cream shop before he gives up on you completely."

"I will today and guess who's coming with me." You grinned at her, hope filling your eyes.

"There's not way I'm going." She glanced up from her book for a second before she looked down again.

"Please M, just for today. I'll pay for the ice creams." You begged, grabbing one of her hands.

"Fine," she mumbled.

"Thank you so much, now let's just hope that he'll be there." You said the last part of the sentence to yourself.

"Hi," Peter turned around from his seat and greeted you quietly, kind of scared of you. "Can I barrow one of your pen please? I lost my bag- again." He asked.

You just glanced up at down at him with a straight face before you reached your hand into your pencil case, getting him a blue pen before you gave it to him, trying not to touch his hand.

"Thanks," he said and swallowed, getting intimidated by your eyes as you stared at him as if you were going to cut his head off.

"Whatever," you muttered.

After a few minutes, you heard Ned asking Peter something you wanted to ask him but you couldn't.

"Are you going to the ice cream shop today, to you know find her?" Ned asked, causing you to shift in your seat, leaning forward trying to listen to Peter's answer.

"Yeah and if she doesn't show up today then I'll... give up." Peter whispered.

Now that you know that Peter was going to be there, your heart started beating faster at the thought of you having an actual conversation with him again.
