The only time they saw you smiling was when you first met on the first day of filming (for Spiderman HC) and the smiles you gave them weren't even genuine, they were bland and fake. And it wasn't because you didn't like them, that was just how you were around people. Quiet, mysterious, emo and always look sad. People on set never heard you laugh except for when you were filming but those weren't real either.
"Y/n!" You somebody called behind you causing you to turn around, your expression was blank like usual. You didn't say anything so the boy, Harrison, continued to talk, "Do you want to hang out with us while the crew set up the next scene?"
You shook your head as an answer before you turned your body around, with each step you Harrison's frown more and more, he was confused at your reaction, he just didn't want you to feel left out.
You were always the type to push people away and that was not because you had a bad past, it was because you were just that type of people who will always be listening instead of talking. You enjoyed being alone in your room, reading, writing - anything that wouldn't make you interact with other people.
As you set your foot onto your trailer, your shoulder relaxed, you were finally alone. Your breathing became calmer. You shrugged your jacket off your shoulders and went straight to your bed, you had at least 3 hours to rest before the next scene.
"Y/n, wake up." You heard Laura's voice, your eyes fluttered open as you began to yawn.
As you guys arrived, the crew stared at you as if you were an alien. The make up artist applied some make up on you before she told you to go and wait for your next scene.
As the people around you talked, you brought out your phone and started scrolling through Twitter, something you liked to do when you're bored. You also took your earphone out of your jean pocket, it was something you always had with you.
You listened to the songs as you watched the other people doing their scenes. When the scenes were done, the director came up to you to tell you what to do. He was a bit worried because you still had your earphone on.
"You got that?" He asked, waiting for you to answer which you did after a few seconds. He looked like he didn't believe you so you went on and repeated what he said to you. "Alright, that's good. Your scene starts in 3 minutes."
You went back to your seat, your phone still in your hands as you continued to go through Twitter. Your happy mood was constant until your phone was ripped out of your hands. You looked up an angry expression slowly climbing onto your face, your brows narrowing dangerously, causing Tom to rethink his action.
"You should be getting ready, Y/n." Tom pulled a smile, holding his hands behind him so you wouldn't be able to get your phone from him. "Your scene starts in about 2 minutes, loosen up your frown, it won't look good on camera plus you look better with your smile." Tom joked lightly, hoping that you would at least smile.
"Give me back my phone." You said in anger but your face stayed the same.
"Nope." Tom leaned down to your face, his hands still behind him. He wouldn't just give your phone back easily, he wanted to make you smile, he wanted to know what you were like when your guard is down, but that wouldn't be easy.
"Fine." Tom's smile disappeared, he thought that you would at least try harder to get your phone back. You weren't the type to let people mess with you easily. If somebody took something that was yours, you would try for a few second and if they wouldn't give it back to you, you would just walk away, if it's just something that isn't that important that is.
"Y/n, your phone." Tom reach out to give you your phone before you could turn away from him completely. You had to fought back the smirk that was creeping onto your face, if the people who was messing with you know that you're completely serious and won't react the way they wanted you to, they would always give up on their own game.
