"Do you always work on the weekend?" The cute boy you saw at least 3 times in a week asked, resting on the marble counter with his elbows.

"Yes, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday too. " you answered, scooping more popcorn whilst smiling at the boy.

Why did I tell him that, too much information.

"Great." He said and backed away from the counter when you gave him his popcorn and his drinks.

"What are you watching tonight?" You asked before he could leave.

"The new Thor movie," he answered.

"It's a great movie," You stated.

"You've seen it?" He asked a smile on his face.

"Nope," you confessed, blushing slightly, pushing the loose strand on hair behind your ear.

"I hope you're right." He chuckled at the end of his sentence before he turned around to face his best friend who was busy scrolling down his phone. "See you later...love." He added turning his head so he would be able to see you.

A small blush crept on your face causing you to look down at the counter top, your heart beating like a drum, the rhythm beating in your veins.

Instead of saying anything, you waved at him and his best friend. You watched them walking away into the cinema as they got smaller and smaller until they disappeared behind the double door.

You bit your lips, trying not to grin because your friends were looking at you as if you were somebody they've never seen before.

"I bet she has a crush on him." One of your co-worker, Julia said from the other side of the counter as she slowly picked up the fallen popcorn from the floor.

"Most likely," your other friend said.

"Guys, I do not have a crush on him, don't be silly." You blushed even deeper as you brought your hands to your face, covering it.

"Sureee." Julia said sarcastically, looking at you laughing slightly, thinking that you guys would be a cute couple.

"You're still here," A familiar voice said behind you causing you to look up and turn around to meet the boy with the brown curls and cute a smile.

"Yes," You said, staring into the boy's eye in the dim light.

"It's 10, you should go home. It's not safe to go home alone when it's late you know?" The boy said with a hint of worry in his soft voice. Your heart began to beat faster than before knowing he was worried about you.

"So do you, but my shift ends in about 20 minutes, I think I can wait." You said back and continued to mopped the tiles, lifting the carpet up occasionally.

"I have my friend Harrison." He pointed out, his head turning to the boy with the blonde hair with his glasses on.

"Well I have my friend Juli-"

"I'm done with my shift, bye Y/n!" Julia called, waving at you from the door.

"Never mind," You pursed your lips, laughing quietly at yourself. "But it's safe enough for me to walk home, it's just a 2 minute walk."

"Alright, just be careful. Do you want my number just in case you know.." He trailed out.

"Are you my dad?" You joked.

"Just asking, I don't want my favorite girl who works in a cinema to get robbed." He said. "Anyways, my best friend and I will go now. But just remember," He pointed his finger, "I tried to help." He chuckled.
