STILES DROVE AS QUICKLY AS HE COULD towards his home; Scott was probably already there. Beside him, Sierra sat anxiously bouncing her knee, trying to wrap her head around everything they had found out. Matt was controlling the kanima, controlling Jackson. He was the one behind the murders of Mr. Lahey, the poor couple with the baby, and the girl at the rave. All of them had been on his hit list, but they still didn't know why.

Once they made it home safely, Scott was waiting for them in the driveway. Together, the three rushed to Stiles' room in order to pull all of their evidence out and look it over. Eventually, the sheriff stopped by inside to see how the teenagers were doing and found them stressing out over a yearbook in which Stiles had viciously circled Matt's picture about twenty times.

He knew it was Matt, ever since the library incident. He had been there anytime something strange happened and somehow had gotten control over who the kanima killed. Noah didn't believe that the crazy sophomore was the killer, even as Stiles persisted. Scott watched the pair with his arms crossed from next to Sierra, who had to continuously remind herself to breathe so she wouldn't freak out.

"They're not dropping the charges," Noah told them firmly, referring to Mr. Harris. Even though the girl at the rave wasn't in his class, it didn't prove that Mr. Harris wasn't the killer. Except for the fact that the trio had watched Matt and the kanima, but they couldn't exactly tell Mr. Stilinski that. "Sierra? Scott?" The two looked up at the sound of their names. "Do you believe this?"

Stiles grumbled under his breath in disbelief; of course his dad had to ask them. He couldn't just believe his son for once without questions being asked. "It's really hard to explain how we know," Scott started out carefully.

"But you have to trust us," Sierra finished for him, offering the sheriff a small smile. "We know it's Matt."

"He took Harris' car, okay?" Stiles continued calmly. "He knew that if the cops found tire tracks at one of the murders and the half the victims were in Harris' class, then they'd arrest him."

"Okay, fine," Noah slightly sighed. "I say that there might be a remote possibility, but give me a motive. I mean, why would this kid want most of the 2006 swim team and coach dead?"

Sierra froze; they hadn't thought that far ahead. Whatever the people had done to Matt, had to have been pretty scarring because of how angry and bloodthirsty he seemed. She exchanged a worried glance with Scott, who was also at a loss for words. He had no clue as to why Matt wanted these people to suffer; the kid was obviously very broken and vengeful considering he orphaned a child by killing her parents. "Isn't it obvious?" Stiles asked exasperatedly, which caused the dirty-blonde to raise her eyebrows. He knew Matt's motive?

The pale boy's light brown eyes glanced around the people who stood before him, awaiting for one of his friends to come up with an answer. When he realized that Scott and Sierra had no idea on what to say, he decided it was best to lie. "Our swim team sucks!" he announced dramatically and Sierra tried to hide a small groan of annoyance. He had nothing. "They haven't won anything in like six years- okay we don't have a motive yet," he admitted with a small sigh. He then raised his head to look at his father in the eye. "But come on, does Harris?"

"What do you want me to do?"

Stiles looked back at his friends in surprise, not believing that his dad was willing to help. Sierra faced Scott, silently telling him he should be the one to talk. "We need to look at the evidence," Scott said slowly, and Sierra nodded in agreement.

Noah immediately disagreed. All the evidence was in the police station- a place where he no longer worked. It wasn't possible. However, Stiles saw the situation as a minor bump in the road; all of the officers loved his father. All Noah had to do was trust his son. "Trust you?" The older man narrowed his eyes.
