I woke up out of breath and in a little bit of a daze, so much in fact that I didn't realize their was a man sitting in a chair beside my bed. It looked like Mr Satotz.

" oh good your finally awake " he said while closing the book he was reading and turning to face me.

" oh hello... " I looked around wondering where I was. Wasn't I in the middle of the hunter exam. I thought to myself but instead of being with everyone else I was in bed with my broken arm raped up firmly, taking its time healing. With few other Band-Aids and patches on me as well.

" your arm will be find by the way,the cut was clean and easily set. Which means that your arm will be even stronger when it heals. But in any case congratulations on your win Gon " Mr Satotz held his hand out to me but I didn't take it. I wasn't happy with my win, I felt like I cheated some how, and I'm sure I let Y/N down.

" Mr Satotz...I- " " you can't " he cut me off. " just like how someone who has fails the hunter exam can no longer pass, someone who has passed the hunter exam can no along or fail. What you make off it is entirely up to you "

I didn't know how I felt about his answer but had no choice but to except the rules of the hunter exam.

" what I do? " I looked at my hunters license and smiled. He isn't wrong and it is my decision when and we're I could use this card.

" you know Mr Satotz, I had a lot of help making it this far, and I owe a lot of favors. Once I paid everyone back then I think I'll be ready to actually use this my license "

Me and Mr Satotz talked a little more about how I was out for the rest of the exam and what happened during then. " wait. Who failed " I asked and he paused taking his time answering my question. " it was Mr Killua " My eyes went wide in shock and I asked him what Killua had done to fail. He told me that he killed someone during the exam so he got disqualified.

The idea of not being able to become a hunter with my dear friend liked we had planned made me upset and when Mr Satotz explained to me what he believed drove Killua to do so made me furious. How could someone do such a thing to their own brother.

Then it hit me " what about Y/N how's she " Mr Satotz looked at me confused. " what do you mean didn't you see her pass "

" yes. but before I started my match I saw her, Kurapika, and Leorio talking. She looked upset and scared. After their conversation she just ran out and left but she made sure to look back at me and smile sadly before leaving. "

" I just haven't been able to focus since then"

" she had a family emergency and had to go immediately. But don't worry we made sure to give her license to her before she left. oh that reminds me she actually told me to give you this "

He handed me a blue envelope that said it was to Me and Killua on the front.

I opened it and inside was a folded letter that had elegant handwriting written on it and It read...

' Dear Gon and Killua

I'm truly sorry that I had to leave without saying goodbye. This was the last thing I wanted but things happen and sometimes we can't control those things. I had to rush home because of an emergency but I didn't want to leave without saying anything. So I made sure to talk to Kurapika and Leorio before leaving. I'm really sorry but I hope we see each other again soon.
