"So let me get this straight. James told you he had feelings for you, then you ran off and solved the missing Mr Graves case, then James caught up with you and you rejected his feelings, and then you walked home by yourself and fell asleep without telling me all that?! Teenie, I'm disappointed."

Tina rolled her eyes fondly but exhausted, "Don't have a fit Queenie, it really wasn't a big deal." she said taking a tired sip from her coffee mug.

"Says the girl who just dumped a guy out in the snow." Queenie said raising her eyebrow and helping herself to some more pancakes.

"It wasn't in the snow, it was in Betty's apartment. Oh, And it's not actually considered dumping if you weren't dating in the first place." Tina said frustrated.

Queenie put a reassuring hand on her sister's shoulder, "I'm sorry Teen, you're right. Did you get a letter from Newt yet?"

Tina nodded, her mouth full of the delicious pancakes Queenie had make for the two of them that morning. "It's on the dresser, his mother won the case on her Hippogriffs. I started a reply last night but I fell asleep mid sentence."

Queenie's mouth twitched at the memory. She had gone into the kitchen to see if Tina had come back from her date with James to surprisingly see her sister back and snoozing away at the table. In one hand she clutched the letter from Newt, and in the other she held a quill and some parchment.

It was quite sweet to see her sister like that.

Happy and calm.

After all that's been going on with Grindelwald and the Graves case, Tina hadn't had a good sleep in weeks.

Draining her cup, Tina placed it in the sink and slipped on her jacket. "I might be home a bit late," she said putting on her hat. "The president wants to talk about something."

Queenie beamed, "Knock her dead Teenie."

Newt was outside with the Hippogriffs continuing to work on his manuscript when his mother came rolling down.

Literally.

She lay on the grass and rolled right next to his feet. "Hello mother," he said chuckling, "How are you feeling this morning?"

"Right as rain Newton! Right as rain!" she announced sitting up. "How's your book going? Did you write about me anywhere in there?"

"Yes, the Hazelendeus Scamandeus. A fearsome creature of the most. She roams Hippogriff stables and our fridge. Ministry Classification is XXXXX and has a tendency to punch people unannounced."

"Aw you say that like it's a bad thing!"

The two burst out laughing. "So.... are you thinking about her?" she asked nudging her son on the shoulders and wiggling her eyebrows.

Newt blushed and resumed his writing.

"Starts with a T... ends with an ina!" she said poking her son.

"Ah ah, c'mon.... You can tell me anything Newton I gave birth to you! I carried you in my womb for 9 months! I know you're thoughts...."

"Mother I'm working-"

"On a way to ask Tina for her hand in marriage!"

"-What?! No!"

"You were thinking it Newton don't try and deny it."

"She's just a good friend."

"Ah yes sure a very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very good friend." she winked.
