did we lose the baby?

I finally got out of the hospital and I couldn't wait to go home Joe was taking me on a date so I made sure to look good for him which probably isn't good that I think that.We arrived at the restaurant he had roses and wine on our table prepared 

'Joe you didn't have to do this for me' 

'Hun its fine you have not been out in 1 month'

awwww well thank you, we ordered food which I missed having meals I wasn't forced to eat I took some selfies with him before our waiter asked if I was gonna drink my wine 

'Ummm I cant have wine I'm pregnant'

'oh ok good luck Taylor'

'thanks' I winked at her Se took my glass and left 

'so Taylor we have to talk about getting married as stressful as it is' 

'Joe, I'm not sure I have been out of the hospital for 45 minutes and How am I going to fit into a wedding dress with my baby bump '

'No excuses Taylor U\your bump is truly stunning nobody will judge you I'll make sure of it'

'Joe I am going to the bathroom ill be back'

I got into the bathroom and locked the door my hands were shaking I saw the blood in my underwear I didn't know what to do.I acted normal and walked back to our table

'Joe can we leave I don't feel well'  I say trying not to be rude I didn't feel well because I was extremely scared and had butterflies in my stomach

'of course, love is it the baby making you feel bad'

'mhm'

he paid and we left the more I thought about what happened the more my throat hurt that pain you get when your about to cry and then it happened I broke down on Joes shoulder

'babe what is wrong you can tell me anything ok?'

'Im bleeding it's not ok when your pregnant I can't even bear the thought of I killed my own child 

'Taylor, sometimes it happens for a lot of women and their babies survive let's go to the hospital and check it out' He turned to my driver and told them to drive to the hospital 'it is gonna be ok Taylor go to sleep, take your mind off this for now

'ok' I mumbled

we had waited an hour despite being here after everyone else I lay down on the bed waiting for my doctor to come in.HI, Taylor, my doctor said sitting down at his desk 'hey' 

'So I'm gonna put it out there it is normal for some women to bleed during pregnancy 20% of women bleed during their first 12 weeks of pregnancy.So just keep that in mind that it might be ok but I'll check anyway I pulled up my shirt and the doctor applied a cold gel onto my stomach and scanned my stomach

Joe: ' that's our baby Taylor' 

Doc: 'the baby is healthy and tall luckily for you not dead'

I squeezed joes hand the doctor wiped off the gel and we walked out with our first pics of the baby I was no longer worried knowing my baby was healthy.
