Alec worked at the toy store down the street from the institute. He put the toys on the shelves and prices up, he helped the customers and did the register duties. One of his regulars was a mysterious man who wore a long coat and hid his face. This would normally cause many alarm bells to ring in his head, but it was winter and the man probably did it because he was cold. The issue wasn't that he frequently showed up, no he rather enjoyed the others company, but rather that he never brought anything. Or if he did, it was when Alec wasn't there.
"Who is he?" Alec would rage while at home, causing his boyfriend, his best friend and his entire family to loose it.
"Why don't you just ask him?" Jace asked him "then you can stop this ranting and move on."
So the next day when the man came in Alec cornered him "Excuse me sir," he smiled "may I help you?"
The man just smiled and left "Come on Alexander figure it out, even the biscuit could figure it out faster!" He called out behind him.
That was when Alec released that it was just Mangus visiting him during work.
