Christmas AU

It's Christmas Eve.

Everyone's excited on opening their gifts, eating their noche buena and chatting with their friends and relatives.

There's this one boy who's sitting and watching the Han River, alone with a can of beer in his hand.

There's this one girl who's on her way home from a store, excitedly thinking on how will she greet her family abroad with Skype.

The girl saw the boy.

The boy was oblivious of the girl.

The girl walked closer to the boy and sat beside him.

The boy didn't mind, he just moved a little bit.

"Hey! I'm Park Sooyoung. Merry Christmas, ahjussi!"

The girl handed the boy a box full of cookies. The boy looked at him in surprise, but he accepted it.

"You look down, ahjussi. Waeyo?"

The girl asked the boy with much curiosity.

"I'm just.. I miss my family."

The boy whispered at her but she heard it clearly.

"Hey, don't be sad ahjussi. I'm also far from my family but I'm still joyful today. It's Christmas, we should be smiling."

The girl tried to form a smile to the boy's lips.

"Ya! I'm not an ahjussi!"

The boy pouted, almost losing his sadness because of the girl's gestures and smile.

"Then what are you? A harabeoji?"

The girl laughed.

"Ani. I'm too young to be called a harabeoji. I'm Yook Sungjae tho, 22 years old."

They shook hands.

Minutes later, the boy saw himself walking and carrying the girl named Park Sooyoung to her dorm.

"Ya! Yook Sungjae!"

The girl shouted then vomited. He carried her again.

"You're too heavy."

The boy complained.

Three years later at the Han River, Yook Sungjae isn't alone celebrating Christmas anymore.

Because he's with Park Sooyoung, together with their first baby girl.
