"Sooyoungie, I will marry you when we're older. I promise." The little boy named Yook Sungjae held her hands as he leave a peck on her lips.
She looks at him intently, "Sure! But I want to have a pony on our wedding. Is that okay?" she asked.
The little boy smiled at her. "Sure will do."
Days after that, the two met again on that playground.
"Sooyoungie, we'll be going to Canada.." He said as he stop her tears from falling down her eyes. "But I will keep my promise to you.. Wait for me here and when I get back, I will marry you." He continued.
She sobbed and bowed her head.
"Promise to wait me here, okay?" He asked again.
"Promise."
Present Time
"You're still waiting for that guy Yook Sungjae, Joyiah. Stop it." Her bestfriend, Wendy, told her.
"I just want to keep my promise, Wendy unnie." She said, stopping her tears.
She's tired of waiting already.
But there's a part in her heart telling that he'll come soon.
"He'll not come back, Joyiah. You wasted 15 years, lots of boys and even your job offer in Japan just for this shit little guy." Wendy scolded her.
10 years later, Sooyoung's already in her 30's Sungjae didn't still come back for her.
