Where The Ocean Meets The Earth

as the waves undermine,
i open my eyes and begin to scream,
letting the water fill my lungs,
a result of what was yet to come,
because of the beast ,
that reared its ugly head,
i was shunned from the world,
and taken into the arms of my watery grave.
the weeds clutching on to the sea floor,
pulled me down,
into a world i have yet to discover,
a world where no one can find me,
for i am just a ghost of my own past.
a soul who couldn't save the beating heart,
of a dearly beloved.
left with only a mind flooded,
with vexed emotions and broken dreams,
no can save me,
for i am just a shell of who i used to be.
my body gets tangled with the weeds,
as they embrace me,
pulling me,
keeping me as their sunken treasure.
i close my eyes and stop screaming,
for i have found my salvation,
in the depths of where the ocean meets the earth.
