The Fork in The Road

If only you saw how much you're worth,
Then maybe you would stop hurting yourself.
Your soul is white and pure,
You're an innocent who is lost.
You are lost because you've come to that fork on the road,
And you do not know which path you'd want to take.
If only you had a guiding star,
To help you through this.
You've been following many false ones,
That you cannot trust the stars anymore.
And now you're all alone,
Sadness swelling deep inside your soul.
And it is slowly becoming stained,
Stained by the society,
Stained by the dark thoughts and emotions.
Don't let yourself be engulfed by the fog,
I know you're stronger than this.
Don't let your soul become as black as sin,
Hold onto that pure whiteness,
Don't let it go.
You will make it.
I know you will,
Because both roads will lead you to great things,
It's how life is.
Full of bumps and thorns and pot holes.
