Well...
I see you alright.
And I see that you're doing it again.
The only time you look at me is when you need something.
And when you do look,
You look like I stabbed you in the gut.
Your eyes widen with fear which swims with guilt.
What are you guilty for?
And here I thought I committed the greatest crime of the century.
Did I hurt you?
Is that why you're avoiding me?
Your silence isn't really helping my friend.
And don't you give me stupid excuses.
I know you,
You're my best friend!
And if I can't help you with what's bothering you,
I'd feel like I have failed and I have no right to be your friend.
So tell me,
What is wrong?
Are you hurting?
If so, who hurt you?
Please don't close up like you did before.
You have a voice,
Use it.
