Clouds of Grey

105 8 1

As I gaze at the clouds of grey,
The sky flashes in white,
Blinding the onlookers to a fright.
Followed by the growling sound,
Like Fury from the Gods above.

I see the clouds of grey again,
Escaping from my father's lips.
The poison that filled his lungs,
He leaves the world in a rush.

The clouds of grey greet me again,
As thunder and lightening roar in my ears.
The water seeping through my skin,
Cold, yet warm, the tears from Angels.

I gaze at the poisoned city once more,
Disgusting, yet beautiful.
And without giving a second glance,
I leave this world forevermore.
