A Letter

11 6 2

You taught me patience,
You taught me self-love,
You taught me how to cope with my anguished heart.
You've healed my scars,
Both inside and out.
You've made me open my eyes,
And made me see the beautiful side of the world.
Your hard work inspires me,
Our unity makes me smile.
Never have I felt alone,
With you and your words by my side.
The messages you give,
Are loud and clear,
And sometimes it makes me weepy,
For they are so true.
I wouldn't have made it this far,
If it wasn't for you.
So I thank you,
From the bottom of my heart,
And I am honored to know such valiant heroes exist.
