SUNSHINE

"you are my sunshine,"

"my only sunshine,"

"you make me happy,"

"when skies are grey,"

"you never know dear,"

"how much i love you,"

"please don't take my s-sunshine a-away..."

tae chokes out as he lays out a single rose on the beautiful marble gravestone.
tears stream down his face like a never ending waterfall.
tae brushes his thumb over the carving of his husband's name.

jung hoseok
he lies an amazing soul, a beautiful man who deserve
nothing more than the fullness of life.
a fighter that did everything he could to continue living.
loved by all, the husband of kim taehyung
and the father of jung mina.
february 18th, 1994 - december 21th, 2017

tae sobs softly, not wanting to wake up his baby.
he daughter that lays peacefully in his arms, sleeping.

"h-hey hobi hyung." tae croaks out.

"i-i m-miss you hyung. w-why did y-you h-have to l-leave. y-you promised m-me that w-we'd be t-together f-forever." tae is now just full blown bawling his eyes out.

"o-our c-child is b-born h-hyung. she's b-beautiful." tae smiles softly, caressing mina's soft cheeks

"s-she has your b-beautiful s-smile."

tae's tears trickle down his cheeks and drip onto mina's cheeks.
the blond stand up and places a soft kiss on hoseok's gravestone.

"i love you hyung." tae whispers as his tears stain the gravestone.

tae walks away with mina already waking up.
the quickly wipes his eyes to get rid of tears and face his daughter.

tae sighs sadly as he sinks into the seat of his car.
he closes his eyes as images of him and hoseok plays in his mind.
tears leak out of his eyes and the images of hoseok breaking down the news to him.

"i h-have c-cancer tae..." hoseok whispers as tears brim at his eyes.

tae shakes his head as he hugs his growing belly.
a new life already forming inside of him and his husband has cancer.

"w-what s-stage hyung?" tae chokes out.

"s-stage 4. i c-can't be c-cured baby." hoseok whispers and takes tae into his arms.

the duo spent the whole day cuddling and crying.
in remorse and in pain.
in fear and in love.

tae opens his eyes feeling all sorts of pain and grief in his stomach.
wanting nothing more than the protective arms of his husband around him.
loving him and caring for him.

"s-sunshine, i l-love you." tae whispers.
