I know y'all wanted this..

Sam's POV

"Did Ronnie get back to you?" Aaron asked from the passenger seat of Elton's rental,

"Yeah. She said that Colby is awake and he is in recovery" I smile as I tell them the good news,

"Oh thank god!" Elton exclaimed from the drivers seat.

Kat rested her head on my shoulder and sighed in relief,

"I thought he wasn't going to make it.. im just so glad that he is okay" she says,

"I know babe. Me too, me too" I say honestly.

I don't know what I would of done if he hadn't of made it.

I felt sick to my stomach thinking about what life would be like without Colby around.

I would be a mess and probably would just give up,

He is my bestfriend.

I know everyone would be devastated and beyond heartbroken, especially Ronnie.

She has been through alot these past couple of years, we all have.

Colby was her anchor; the captain of her ship and we were the ones who had the delight to be the crew.

The one thing that could calm her and make her feel safe; was Colby.

They would be lost without each other.

In that waiting room Ronnie seemed distant and she didn't speak much.

She would just sit there in silence and stare at the walls.

That's what love does to you; leaves your mind disconnected to the real world.

You lose all concept of reality and you shut down.

At least this wasn't the case this time.

We pulled up into the hospital parking lot.

It was a relief to finally step out of the car that we had been sat in for hours of traffic.

We were finally here and my heart was beating like a drum.

I was excited to see him; to see Colby because I thought that a few days ago would be the last.

I'm just so glad and grateful that he is okay.

Happy that we get to still live our lives together.

Shortly after Elton locks the car, Amanda pulls into the parking lot in the second rental with Devyn and Corey.

She steps out with a bag of stuff for the love birds upstairs and smiles at us.

They make their way over and we all head inside.

I walk up to the reception and we all wait eagerly for someone to show up.

Just as I was about to press the bell for assistance,

A young woman in scrubs appears from around the corner and greets us,

"Hello, welcome to Dubai international hospital. How may I help?" She chirps,

"We are here to see a Mr Robert Brock" I state.

She types something in on the keyboard in front of her and her eyes scan over the monitor,

"What's the first name?" She asks as she looks back up at me,

"Colby".

She looks back to the computer screen and smiles brightly as she finds the information,

"Are you here for visitation?" She asks,

"Yeah, only if it's okay" i say politely, I didn't want to cause a hassle,

"Unfortunately, his visitation hours are no longer in session as he is being released in about.." She explains as she looks at the watch on her wrist,

"Half an hour. You are welcome to wait here if you like, he would be coming through that door shortly" she says as she points to a door in the centre of the hallway opposite us,

"That's great. Thank you so much!" I exclaim and we walk over to the blue plastic chair that lined the walls.

We all take our seats and wait.

Waiting patiently for Ronnie and Colby to walk through those doors.

Waiting for my bestfriends..
