Aaron's Mistake

Realization

"Yeah! We were about to swim anyway!" I said as Aaron's arm fell from my shoulder to interlock with my right hand.
"Awesome! Tag, Green Ears!"
Tronix said and left with Daniel running after him.
"Was that a nickname for Daniel? That is too cute!" I said as we watched them splash in the water.
Aaron joined them in the water, and after more people started to come back from lunch, everyone was soon out of the water.
Tronix sloppily dried his hair and slung the towel over his shoulder.
"That was fun, thanks for inviting me over!" Tronix said to The Crazy Trio.
As Tronix turned back to face me and Aaron, something swung back into his chest.
It can't be.
No, it's not.
I refuse to believe it.
"T.. Tronix?" I ask him.
"Huh? Oh, what's up Aphmau?" Tronix asks.
"W here.. or.. who gave you that crystal?" I asked, pointing to it.
"Oh, a new friend of mine gave it to me when I fell asleep. His name was-"
"Aphmau, want to go to lunch?" Aaron asks.
"Oh, s- sure." Aphmau says. Seems like something's on her mind.

I sat at the table, diagonally from Tronix. Sometimes, I would get illusions. When he blinks, his eyes change from green to normal.
What is wrong with me?
Tronix is a friend! He would never know him.
"Tronix! I just realized!" Dottie yelled, and we all looked at her.
"Where did you get that necklace!?" She said, almost interrogating him.
"You never told us!"
"Oh, sorry. I got it from a friend named-"
"Here you go, who ordered the Cesar salad?" The waitress asked.
