Your POV

"Stay safe and God bless," the dubbed voice from the phone ends the call and I begin to shout and jump with excitement.

UA just called me saying that there will be no school tomorrow due to 'extreme weather conditions'. It's supposed to snow tomorrow so you know what that means?

Snow Day!

I bounce down the stairs to tell my parents the news.

"Mom, Dad!" I forward the news from the school, "There's no school tomorrow!"

"Good," my dad smiles at me, "Now you don't have to wake up so early and I don't have to drive you in the snow."

"Mom," I ask her about something, "Can I go play in the snow tomorrow?"

"Sure," then her face looks as if a lightbulb just lit up in her mind, "Why don't you invite Todoroki with you? His quirk could make things extra fun for you guys."

"That's a great idea, mom!' I give her a thumbs up, "Let me go text him." 

I dash back up the stairs and grab my phone. I furiously type in my password and tap on the messaging app.

You: Hey!

You: Was wondering if u want to play in the snow with me tmw?

Elsa❄️: Sure, I'll meet u in the park at 2 pm?

You: Great! I'll be there!

I turn off my phone and plop on the bed, unable to fall asleep with the idea of tomorrow.

"Make sure you have your hat, scarf, and gloves," my mom hands me my coat.

"Okay, mom," I roll my eyes playfully, "I'll be back before seven."

"Text when you're coming home!" My dad calls out from the living room.

"Got it!" I snag the keys hanging from the hook and notebook lying on the top shelf near the front door, "Later!"

I open the door and lock it once I'm out in the cold. Man, the weather reports weren't kidding!

Shivering a little, I blow out a puff of air, a white smoke cloud forming in front of me. I walk down the sidewalk, going down my usual route to the park.

(Cue the monologue!) Todoroki and I met when we were little kids. His parents wanted to introduce me to him as I had quite a powerful quirk.

It's called Doppo Poet. It gives me the ability to generate a certain item from a piece of paper when I write the item's name on it. However, the size of the paper is the size of how big the object can be.

For example, if I write the word 'hat' on a twelve-inch paper, I summon a hat that's no bigger than twelve inches. And because of how low my quirk is in offensive terms, I had to work out a whole bunch. Another downside is that I have to write neatly. Thank god I'm blessed with good handwriting.

He and I hit it off pretty well and we would hang out almost every day. However, we don't hang out as much as we used to because of Endeavor, Todoroki's dad. He likes to keep Todoroki at home so he could concentrate on excelling at using his quirk.

Humming along the way, I stop by the curb as the traffic light turns green. I'm surprised anyone's even driving today. The snow was quite heavy last night.
