Your POV:
"Morning, Teach!" I yell out my common catchphrase every time I walk into the 5th-grade classroom.
Usually, someone at least says the same to me. However, this time, no one had noticed; everyone was surrounded by a certain someone's desk.
Piqued, I go ahead and check it out. My eyes widen to the sauce of saucers as I see what the commotion was about.
"Who ARE you!?" I bellow out and everyone turns to look at me.
A white-haired man with amethyst-colored irises stands in front of the desk, oblivious to all the on-lookers surrounding him. The one outstanding fact about him was the fact that he must have been at least 5 feet and 6 inches!
"It's me, Kanade Takahashi," the man who was supposed to be one of my best friends furrow his brows, "You seriously don't remember?"
"Ka-Kanade!?" I choke on my own spit from shock, "Wh-What happened!"
"I just woke up this way," Kanade bluntly explains, "It seems I'm finally taller than you."
"U-Urgh!" I bite my lip out of my frustration, "I'll be taller than you! Just watch!"
Stomping over to my desk, I slump in my chair. Dang, I never expected this turn of events.

"Ha, ha!" I laugh at him as I stand triumphantly in front of the 5th grader, "I'm taller than you!"
"I'll beat you one day!" Kanade points at me with a victorious pose.
"Ha, doubt it!" I look down at him as I was a few inches taller, "You'll be like that forever, shorty!"
"Let's make a deal," the albino suggests, "If I am taller than you before the end of the school year, you have to do whatever I say!"
"Hah! Easy peasy," I brush off the risks of the bet, "It's on!"

"Tch!" I click my tongue with a sense of defeat. My pride was shot down when I saw Kanade like that.
I was the tallest in the grade with an astonishing height of 4'10'', and yet Kanade manages to beat me by over half a foot!
Bitting my thumb, I can feel myself being filled with determination. I need to become taller than the giant himself!
Zipping open my bag, I withdraw a piece of paper and a pencil. In huge letters, I jot down 'HOW TO GET TALLER: THE ONE PUNCH MAN WAY!'.
"Run ten kilometers a day," I mumble to myself as I conjure some of the best ways to gain height in less than three months, "Do one hundred sit-ups, squats, and pushups. Drink at least ten cartons of milk each day, the white ones."
