Steve's Rescue (Avengers Fanfiction)

An explosion sounded from outside.

Bucky ripped his arm away from the web before freeing Sam.

The three of us took off towards the exit.

"Come on!" I heard Steve yell to us.

We joined him with Wanda, Clint, and Scott.

Rhodey, underoos, Vision, Tony, Natasha, and catman were standing across from us.

"What do we do Cap?" I heard Scott ask.

Steve kept his focus on the team across from us, "We fight," I didn't like that answer. I'm still just a cat.

That was all it took for the fight to start.

I mainly just ran around and tried to attack whoever was showing skin.

"We're still friends right?" I heard Natasha ask as Clint pinned her.

"Depends on how hard you hit me," he told her.

Wanda threw Natasha into a storage container when she flipped Clint, "You're pulling your punches," Wanda called out to him before walking off. You go girl.

I decided to follow Wanda, Steve was fighting the ones who were in the air, I couldn't help him.

Wanda threw catman, who had Bucky by the neck, through another storage container.

I ran over to Steve, who was using a fallen car as shelter with Bucky.

"Hey Dot," Steve said as he pet my ear, I purred.

I jumped back with a startled noise as Scott grew, a lot.

He grabbed Rhodey's suit to hold him off of Sam. Who went after Tony.

Steve grabbed me and took off, Bucky running by his side.

A nearby watchtower started crumbling as Vision shot it, another reason to hate him.

Wanda's magic held it up for a few moments, but not for long.

But we managed to slip under it with not a moment to spare.

Natasha was there, "You're not gonna stop,".

I hopped out of Steve's arms and onto the floor.

Natasha raised her widow bites, "I'm gonna regret this," she said, mostly to herself before firing.

It hit neither Steve or Bucky.

I turned my head to see catman crumble to the floor.

Steve and Bucky started running again, I followed not far behind.
