Third Person POV

There he was...standing in front of one of two of the only people he had ever loved. One was Eden. And here...was his mother. Her face was stained with tears while she rocked a little child in her arms, singing a song to the crying baby.

"Mother..." Pan whispered, taking two steps closer to her, but her head didn't turn. She didn't stand up, nor did she hear him. She continued to look down at the little baby, shushing him with her soft voice that could lull any infant to sleep.

"It's alright, Peter. Mother is here. Sleep now, my little one. Everything will be fine when you wake." Peter... It was him. She hadn't replaced him. This was his past. And with these words, his mother began to sing to him.

Pan's lips let a gasp slip, his heart stammering when he realized. It was the song Eden had sung to Daniel. It was a song he had loved since he was a babe, but didn't even know it. Pan watched as he, in his helpless, infant form began to coo instead of cry, slowly falling asleep in his mothers arms.

"I love you, Peter..." Pans eyes filled with tears. All that love she had in her heart, and yet, she died...

-----

"Peter! Wake up...Please wake up." Eden cried, leaning over his pale, lifeless body while clutching onto his hand. He had been moved into the medical tent, which was just their kitchen with a curtain separating the two rooms. He was laying on a wooden table, his face growing more colorless as the seconds went by.

"Eden, I need you to leave." Said Owen, the creative genius of the lost boys. He made all the soaps, medicine, and did a lot of cooking. However, he was a fool if he thought Eden was going to willingly leave Pan's side. He was dying...She wasn't letting go.

"No! I'm not leaving! I have to stay with him!" Eden yelled, holding onto Pan with all her strength. Owen checked his pulse, his eyes growing wide though he kept a calm, determined look on his face. It wasn't until Pan started jolting and shaking when he started showing fear.

"Get her out of here now! Hunter, go in Pans tent and bring me whatever healing spells or herbs you can find."

"We aren't allowed in Pan's tent! He'll kill me!" Hunter exclaimed, fearful of Pan's wrath.

"For the love of...He's dying! Go get it now! Take Eden out! All of you, leave!" Owen yelled. Eden felt someone grab her, their arms wrapping around her waist from behind her.

"Stop! Put me down!" She cried, tears stinging at her eyes as her hand was ripped away from Pan's. She was hauled out of the tent and set down by the fire. She sprang up, preparing to run back into the tent when Felix stepped in front of her.

"You can't go back in there, kiddo. I'm sorry, but it's better this way. Owen will save him." Felix said...But then Eden remembered something. Once Felix left her, she stood up, taking one of the bows and a quiver of arrows.

"No, he won't. But I will." She whispered. And with that, she started to run... All the way to the cave...

-------

Eden was nervous about leaving Pan at the camp. She was worried that when she got back, it would be too late. She was just hoping she was wrong about that. While walking into the cave, Eden heard something...It sounded like a swoop...

"Who's there?" She asked cautiously, quickly notching an arrow in her bow just in case. A misty black shadow flew into her line of vision, the only feature on its face being two eerily blue eyes. It flew close to her, staring straight into her eyes without a single word. Eden gulped, clenching her bow tighter.
