STORY INFO/CHARACTERS

Just thought I'd put this here so readers know the ropes of this book. It's also here to make it easier for me if I forget a character's birthday or something. You don't have to go through it all, but you probably should at least read the information on the werewolves and witches/warlocks in this book.

WARNING: This book has multiple characters that are GAY and in relationships together. So if you don't like the rainbow🏳️‍🌈, then don't read the book.

STORY INFO

Background
● Takes place from 2017-2018
● Set in Canada 🇨🇦
● Main pack is Moonblood pack, other packs mentioned may be Bloodlust, Redriver and Nightstalker.

Races

Human
● Governments know of the other races

Werewolf
● Shift at 13, 16 at the latest
● Can only find their mate at 16, mate could be any race
● Females can't become pregnant until they turn 18
● Pregnancies only last 6 months
● Heat for females happens if a pair of mates haven't fully mated within one month of both mates accepting each other (both mates must accept each other and if they aren't fully mated within one month after, heat happens)
● Shimmering amber eyes when wolf is in control
● Alpha and Beta's wolves are larger
● Silver burns on contact, wolfsbane blocks the wolf and mind-links and gradually makes them weaker
● Naturally stronger than humans and often physically stronger than witches and warlocks
● Have a truce with witches and warlocks
● Wary but not scared of humans because of hunters
● Don't often socialize with the other races
● Rogue cold is the wolf's way of telling their human counterpart to join a pack. Like heat, the cold only happens once a month and lasts for a few hours. The cold only happens to rogues that have been rogues for at least four consecutive years. They feel like they're freezing, taking a polar dip in the Arctic. Rogues do actives that work up a sweat to help ease the feeling.

Witches/Warlocks
● Same race, females called witches, males called warlocks
● Only gain their power at 13, 14 at the latest
● Pregnancies only last 6 months
● Eyes glow when using their power
● Don't always have soul mates, usually fall in love like humans. If they're a werewolf's mate, they can reject them without any consequences like depression or longing.
● Each individual naturally has one ability and one weakness that could be pretty much any uncommon material, usually a type of metal. Very rare to find two individuals with the same ability or weakness. A second ability can be learned through very hard work and practice.
● Smaller population than werewolves, but not drastically smaller
● When dying, an individual can give some or all of their power to another individual. If the individual is a werewolf, they will gain the power and still be able to shift and mind-link.

Royals Group
Leader: Rogue Queen Rei
Members: Clove, Killian, Chase, Rhea, Zaine
Purpose/Job: Rescues the abused, takes in the rejected etc. Aim to injure, not kill but will kill in defence or if threatened

Rulers Group
Leader: Rogue King Thatcher
Members: Daring, Four, AJ, Maximus, Darcy
Purpose/Job: Often attacks packs for fun or out of boredom

Healers Group (follows Queen)
Leader: Serena
Members: Quinn, Amara, Reese, Dexter, Jordan
Purpose/Job: Doctors/therapists, take in abused once they're well enough to leave Royals, but not well enough to join another group
