Al Vincent's POV

I was reading a fictional book made by a mortal author. This book is very famous kaya na-curious ako. And besides, it is about spells and witchcrafts. Its title is Harry Potter. Maraming books pero nasa last book na ako and it is very interesting.

When suddenly, Mr. Witheeys called me.

“Yes, mister?" bungad ko sa kaniya.

“Tell me about your Fiona," diretsahan niyang sabi.

Nagulat ako sa sinabi niya at aaminin ko, I am happy nang sinabi niya ang ‘your' Fiona. But I know my limitations. She's marked and I respect that. Besides, I can also feel that she's happy. When she serenaded Ash— yes, I was there— I realized that I can't take away her happiness. Masaya na ako na nakikita siyang masaya.

“What's with that sudden interest?" tanong ko at umupo sa kaharap niyang upuan.

I sighed. “I know. She's a sweetheart, no doubt. She has a big and pure heart. And she's a very strong woman. I admire her for that." I warmly smiled.

“I know. I can tell that. She's a person na madaling malinlang pero mahirap kalabanin."

My smile faded. “What are you up to?" seryoso kong tanong.

Umiling siya. “Nah, not me. What are they up to?" he asked, emphasizing the word ‘they'.

Bigla akong nag-alala para sa kaligtasan ng kaibigan ko.

“We can't leave now, Vince. We'll help them," aniya.

“Help them from what?" naguguluhan kong tanong.

“From great distruction."

“Asan na ba ang mga batang iyon!?" frustrated na singhal ni Lim.

Naiintindihan ko kung bakit siya nafu-fustrate ngayon. He's just afraid... afraid for all of us. We received an unexpected letter from Vampire World and it surprised us.

“Today is their anniversary. Mukhang tumakas ulit sila. Tsk. Those kids," sabi ko.

“But they escaped in a wrong time! We are all in danger!" singhal ni Mr. Lim sa akin.

“Low down your voice, mister. I am still higher than you," babala ko sa kaniya. “And besides, wala pa silang alam sa nangyayari ngayon," dugtong ko.

Napayuko siya. “I'm sorry."

“I know that you're just afraid for our safety and freedom, but we can't run away from this, and just hide. We need to face this. We need to prepare," ani ko.

“Bakit ba kasi ito nangyayari all of a sudden?! Parang kahapon lang ay payapa pa tayo ah!" he exclaimed.

“We need to protect her, Lim," I said.

“And it includes her. So shut up. We need to protect the princess," I said.
