(Volume 1) Chapter 7:The Legend/ A Journey Begins

You and Jack are walking away from the main area where Yang and the others are and following Professor Ozpin, you and Jack are looking down sadly, you look back to see if Team RWBY is still watching you leave. And they are, just watching and your heart aches as they all look at you with sorrowful eyes- including Weiss which you honestly didn't expect. Either way, as much as you want to change this outcome, you can't. You all exit through the main doors and walk over to the area where his giant office is. You enter the building and go into an elevator. It's...eerily quiet. You hate it so you finally break the silence

You:"Excuse me, sir?" Ozpin glances back at you

Ozpin:"Yes, Mr. (F)?"

You:"Well just what is going to happen to us, sir? We didn't get a chess piece." Ozpin nods

Ozpin:"Ah yes, you didn't acquire a relic. And unfortunately that means you can't stay at Beacon under normal circumstances."You sigh and look down "But, these are not normal circumstances, now aren't they?" He gives a sly smirk as the elevator stops and the doors open. Huh, the room seems to basically be a giant clock with all of these gears everywhere. You all step into the room as Glynda Goodwitch is there as well?

Jack:"Sir, what do you mean by that?" Ozpin walks behind his desk and sits down in his chair.

Ozpin:"I mean that, even though you didn't acquire a relic, you did however acquire something quite valuable. Isn't that right, (F)?" Everyone looks at you, you stand there surprised.

You:"I uh...what?" Glynda sighs as Ozpin smirks.

Ozpin:"This year at Beacon is quite different from our previous ones...most of the time we only accept 80 students, that way we can distribute students into 20 teams of 4. This year we accepted 82..."

You:"So...why the extra two students?"

Ozpin:"Because I wanted to test a theory, one that Professor Goodwitch most certainly did not agree with. I felt something very different about you two...and it seemed my theory was proben correct...We said before starting the exercise that we'd be monitoring but we wouldn't intervene. And while we were monitoring we discovered that you picked up quite a valuable item (F). Show us it, if you would." You reach into your pocket and grab the ring. You take it out of your pocket as the whispers slowly set in. Everyone stays silent for a bit

Ozpin:"I'm going to take a stab and say that you have absolutely no clue as to what you're holding?"

You:"It's...a ring?" Ozpin chuckles

Ozpin:"(F)...why would you join Beacon?"

You:"I uh- what?" You feel like that question came outta nowhere. 

Ozpin:"You chose to join an organization that your family, and particularly your father is bent on bringing down." Oh crap he knows about that

You:"Sir?"

Ozpin:"We know that your father is the high ranking official Somnus. We know that we've seen footage of you and your father doing deals with the likes of Roman Torchwick and other parties involved in an underground crime network. And we know that you were in fact a member of the White Fang." Aaaannndddd he knows about everything else too, greeeaaaatttt. There's quite a bit of silence "And yet, you chose to come to Beacon Academy...I am quite intrigued as to why, Mr. (F)"
