I'm coming back!

Conan's P.O.V.-

"Are you sure you want to do this, kudo?" Haibara asked for the millionth time. We are currently in the Kudo mansion, in my room and ready to bring Kudo Shinichi back.

"Yes, I'm sure, I want to go back to the people I left." I say truthfully, thinking of someone in particular.

'Ran... I need to tell her...'

"Then....what of the people you'll leave behind now? The detective boys, the police force members you met as Conan, Kobayashi sensei...me?" She says looking down.

I look at her with a sorta dejected face, but I can't back down now!

"When they grow up, I'll tell the detective boys, they are smart so they might find out on their own but until then, we have to defeat THEM... The police force only see Conan as a brilliant mind and it's not like they may not get surprise calls from Conan every once in a while." I say as I wave my bowtie around.

"As for you, I'm literally right next door. Will it be different if I'm in a different body?" I ask with a grin. She just nods no to answer my question.

"I'll also have to tell Ran, it's not fair for her and I'll have to tell her that my feelings changed, I've changed, she can't keep waiting for a ghost.

I still can't believe I never noticed till Kid rescued me from that snake guy that I only saw Ran as a sister." I laugh at that.

"For a detective to have his heart stolen by a thief, ironic," Haibara adds with that evil smirk of hers.

At that my face turns into many shades of red. Yeah, my heart couldn't stop beating when Kid cradled me in his arms as I was disguised as Haibara. In my heart i kinda knew i liked him since long ago but my stuborn side refused to accept it. It was actually Haibara's idea for me to dress as her so I can test out her theory and she was correct. Damn her...

"I-i don't even know the guy, and h-he isn't interested in me..."

'...Curse you, writer for making me stutter...!'

"The last few heists he's been giving you pink roses turning darker...want a definition for that?" She says as she starts preparing the antidote.

Two pills, red and blue, one to neutralize the effects of the poison APTX-4869 and the other to make sure it doesn't kill me is all Haibara said.

"...I'll have to tell Ran too, I'm kinda dreading it," I say, sighting as I lay down. How does one simply say to a person they though was their all that they came out? And for a criminal nonetheless...maybe I won't say the last part.

Haibara just smiles sadly and passes me the pills with a glass of water. She has become so open in front of the detective boys, Agasa, and I that it's become a habit for her to smile more and she wouldn't even notice this herself.

"Not really my problem now, is It?"

As soon as Haibara left after explaining the basics of what will happen due to the antidote, I started to feel dizzy.

The agonizing pain I felt from it, like a thousand bolts of electricity was runing through my veins. The headache I felt was like if you were on a potentially high hallucinogen. My skin burning up as if trying to melt then stretch and the bones inside me threatening to grow out of my body.

At some point, I started to black out but the pain still lingered. I was helpless to the pain and at some point I was ready to accept death till the pain started to cool down.

'Did...Did i...turn back...?'
