And Karen Jay is the furthest you could get from that; rude, obnoxious and just a tad too smart, when she finds out her mate is none other than the warrior wolf Merrick Bale, she wishes to God and to the Moon Goddess (basically anyone that may listen) that she can get away from the too intense, too cold and too arrogant man they call 'Beast'.
After being raised as a 'lady' should and seeing the way mates are treated by their other halves, she isn't in it for the flowers.
Karen's in it to shove standards up all wolves asses. And if she falls in love along the way, that's an unwelcome and bittersweet addition.
