we were watching guardians of the galaxy volume two, and were at that part at the end where the new creation thing is named 'adam'

me: just imagine someone says "no sh**, sherlock," and then tony stark and doctor strange just stare at each other knowingly whilst agent ross facepalms in the background.

dad: *shaking his head* they were doing this all day at barnes and noble. people were staring.

me: what? i don't wear tank tops.
mom: you should! muscular people look good in tank tops! it shows off their arms.
me: muscular? yeah right.
mom: what are you talking about, your arms are massive!
me: wow thanks.
mom: massive as in muscular!
me: my arms jiggle mother. there's no muscle there.
mom: what're you talking about!! that's what muscle does! it jiggles.
me: (internally) this is such a lame attempt at redeeming yourself. you're shredding the last bit of femininity i was so desperately clutching onto.
yep. this is how my mother helps me with my self image problems. by telling me i'm 'massive' lol. i feel soooo much better.

we were at barnes and noble today and my sister found an alexander hamilton card game, so she shouts "LOOK HAMILTON HAS A CARD GAME" extremely loudly, and whilst i am trying to calm her down, this man comes over to us and says, "the game probably doesn't have the lyrics just so you know."
*sigh* at least for once it wasn't me who was freaking out and embarrassing myself.

my sister told me today that she wanted to watch sherlock. i'm glad but i also have to warn her that once you join the sherlock fandom, there's no backing out. ever. you're stuck forever. i hope she's okay with that. ><

my dad hates all our marvel references lol.
if my sister and i see even a second of a marvel movie we'll be talking in avengers quotes for the rest of the week, so it's his own fault for allowing us to binge watch all of them. ><
sorry for talking about marvel nonstop btw. i'm sure you've all gotten bored of my ranting about it. infinity war comes out soon though and i'm actually going to die when it does so you won't have to worry about me being annoying anymore.

this week was okay.
we're in the middle of exams and finals and stuff but i didn't have to take any which was nice.
it was pretty boring overall to be honest.
i was the final girl running on the pacer test, which had never ever happened to me before, so that's exciting i guess.
i got 71 which isn't a lot but it's the highest my unathletic self has ever gotten so.
i was the third to last person to finish out of everyone which isn't great but considering it was with a class full of very athletic guys i guess i did okay.
that was like the one good thing that happened this week honestly.
