Laura P.O.V
I looked straight into his eyes and started leaning in. Ross started to lean in. We kissed. It was slow, yet passionate. It made me feel like I was riding a rollercoaster. It made my stomach have butterflies. How can this happen all because of a guy?
My last relationship ended in a disaster. I guess if Ross saw me with running eyeliner and he still likes me, he is a keeper. We both slowly pulled away and stared into each others eyes. "Ross and Laura, dinner in 20," Riker said opening the door. "Be right down." Ross yelled back.
"Ross, I like.." I wasn't sure if he felt the same way. "Laura..I like...you too." I felt relieved that he repeated it. "It was the kiss. It all started with the kiss," I admitted. Ross grabbed my hand and started to walk with me downstairs. Just before we got into the kitchen, he let go and we walked to out seats that were next to each other. "Laur, feeling better?"
"Umm... yeah del, Ross and I talked." Rydel looked at me and I knew exactly what she meant. She meant "DO YOU LIKE MY BROTHER BECAUSE OMG OTP!!!" I slowly nodded hoping she wouldn't fangirl, but she did anyway. Rydel immediately grabbed my hand and pulled me into another room.
"Spill," Rydel said smiling. "We just started talking and then he said that I wasn't alone and that I had him....then we...uh we..." I wasn't sure what to say. "You ummm....what?!?" Rydel was trying to get me to tell her. "We ummm.....may have kissed." Rydel smiled."YOU GUYS ARE MY NEW OTP!!!!!"
"SHHH. Rydel...I don't know if we are together." Rydel pulled me back to the table and we finished the dinner with only a little small conversation. After dinner, Rocky pulled me to the side.
"Are you really feeling better?" I nodded. "Yeah. The talk with Ross helped. It helps to know that I am not alone." Rocky was being sweet. "Okay. I am here for you. You know that right?" I wanted to just hug him.
"I know that Rocky." He hugged me. "So wanna hang out tomorrow?" I nodded, smiling. "Great we can go to the movies."
"What are we seeing?" Rocky smiled, "I know just the movie."
THE NEXT DAY
Ross P.O.V.
I liked Laura, there was nothing confusing about that. I knocked on Laura's door. "Come in." I walked inside. "So wanna do something today?" She looked at me, "I'm actually about to go out."
"With who?" I asked maybe becoming a bit protective. "Rocky." I may have been jealous, just a little bit. "Rocky as in Lynch as in my brother... You're dating him?" She smiled. "I am hanging out with him, relax."
"I was wondering if I could take you out on a date?" Laura smiled, "You don't seem so SHOR of yourself."
"Ha ha ha. Very funny. Using my name in an attempt to be funny." I looked at her and she was cracking up over there. "Anyway. I would love to go out on a date with you. We will talk when I get back." Laura walked through the doorway and knocked on Rocky's door. "Ready?" She called. Riker answered the door. "For what?"
"I am looking for Rocky," Laura said. "Here I am." Rocky said coming out of the room. Even though I know it isn't a date, I had to admit that I was a little jealous. I mean why should I be? She obviously likes me or she wouldn't have agreed to the date.
