Chapter 30

Ross P.O.V.

What she was saying made me fill with rage. I didn't mean any of the things I'd done or any of the things I'd said. I was thrown off the bus and pushed back into the house by Rocky. "What the fuck man?" I looked down. "I didn't mean to," I spoke softly, my voice was weak and fragile. 

"You're an asshole," Rocky spoke knocking me to the ground. I clenched my jaw in pain. I felt my lips. Blood rushed onto my fingers. "I didn't deserve that." Rocky turned back around. "The hell you didn't." He shook his head and walked out of the house. I watched Laura from the window. She ran from the bus and collapsed onto the ground. 

I wanted to run outside and comfort her, but I don't think she wants to see me right now. I could hear her sobs from where I was. "Laura." His soft voice, gentle and comforting to her ears. He wins. He gets the girl he's wanted from day one. He won the battle because of my stupid mistake. I am truly an idiot. What guy does that to his girlfriend? What guy does that to a girl?

Laura P.O.V.

Ross and I were screaming at each other. I could tell he was getting angrier by the second, but I didn't think he would resort to this. To this method of dealing with his problems. I couldn't handle it anymore, I ran out of the bus and collapsed. I looked up at one point. I saw his face staring at me from the window. 

I felt a hand on my back. I turned around seeing Riker. "Laura." I tried to fake a smile, but my face hurt a little too much for that. "Come here." He opened his arms and leaned down. I slowly moved into them. He cradled my face in his hands and slowly leaned in. He kissed me. I pushed him away. "Some of it is coming back, but not everything," I whispered. "I remember falling for him and loving him. I'm sorry if that's not what you wanted to hear, but I love him." 

"Damn, Laura. You love him after all that screaming, all that yelling, after he did this." He tried to touch my face, but I pushed his hand away. "Yes." Riker looked away for a minute, but then helped me up. "At least come inside and talk to my mom, you're hurting emotionally." 

"I can talk to Rydel, she was there. She will understand," I spoke walking back into the bus. "But my mom can yell at him and kick his ass." I smiled, "Rydel can do that too." I giggled. "You're right." Riker smiled and we walked into the room with Stormie. 

"I still think you should tell my mom," Riker said nudging me towards Stormie. "Tell me what sweetie?" I looked at Stormie and couldn't do it. I couldn't tell her what her son had said, what her son had did. Stormie gestured for me to sit next to her and I finally opened up. 

"We got into a huge screaming match," I spoke letting my eyes fill with water. "Over what, sweetheart?" I shook my head, "I just don't really remember anything, I only remember some things and we got into an argument because I didn't know we were dating." Stormie sighed and pulled me into a hug. "I think you should talk it out with him sweetie."

"That's not all," I spoke removing my hand from my face. "Laura, what happened?" Stormie was surprised. "Ross hit me."
