Laura P.O.V.

"How could he have done that, he would've been just a kid. He is 3 months older than me." Ross shook his head. "Something about that guy. He isn't our age, I can tell you that right now."

THE NEXT DAY

"Knock, Knock." I shot up, throwing off all the covers. Rydel walked in. "Delly, you scared the shit out of me!" Rydel sat down on my bed. "Sorry, Laur. What's been going on with you? You have been really jumpy lately."

"I've just got a lot of things on my mind." Rydel laid on the bed next to me. "Spill." I nodded and started from the moment I basically ditched her at the house.

Travis P.O.V.

I heard my phone ring as I fell out of bed. "What?" I was still half asleep. "Did you do what I asked?" The raspy voice was the same as before. "Yes, Mr. R-"

"Perfect. Keep Riker busy, then you send Rydel to me. I can persuade her to turn on Miss Marano and tell her secrets." I nodded, then I realized he couldn't see me. "Yes. Whatever you say, just leave Laura alone, promise?" I heard heavy breathing and the phone line went dead.

I checked my phone for the number, wanting to call back. The number was private, and always different. He never kept the same one. God, what have I gotten myself into? Laura will never know how much I've done for her.

Riker P.O.V.

There was a knock at the door. Everyone else was still sleeping so I got up and answered it. "Oh, hey Travis." He scratched the back of his neck. "Hi, Riker?" I nodded, signaling that he got my name correct. "Laura isn't awake yet."

"Whether she is awake or not, I doubt she wants to see my face." What the hell was he talking about? "Travis, what are you talking about?" Travis looked at me confused. "I doubt she wants to see me after everything that happened last night." I'm still confused. "What happened?" Travis sighed and sat on the couch with me. He started with right after he was introduced to us, after we all went upstairs.

Rydel P.O.V.

"Woah." Was all I could say after hearing Laura's story. I couldn't believe that actually happened. Travis seemed like a good guy. "I wouldn't have been able to believe it If I hadn't experienced it, I loved Travis." I nodded. I checked my phone quickly, realizing that it was almost time to grab breakfast with Ratliff. "Laura, I have to go."

Laura frowned. "Okay." I still had to get ready, but not a lot of time. If Laura helped it would be finished more quickly. "Will you help me get ready?" Laura's frown turned to a smile as she nodded and jumped out of bed. She was in my room before I was. I jumped in the shower quickly while Laura got out my beauty products.

Laura gave me a facial and I texted Ratliff. His texts always made me smile. "Rydel come over here." I looked up to see Laura pointing to my vanity. I sat in the chair and she did my make-up. When she was finished I went to go meet Ratliff.

"Hey babe." I smiled. Babe? What he is doing? "Hey E-Rat." He hugged me and then sat down at our table. Usually we split the check, but Ratliff insisted. Was he making this a date? Since I walked here, I drove with Ratliff. We went to his aunt's house to visit his adorable cousins. They were only 4 and 6 years old. After that, we hung out for a bit.

"Don't do this! Please don't." Ratliff walked closer. "You'll be fine, Del."
