Laura P.O.V.

Do you believe in love at first sight? I do. Well in my case, it was love at first kiss I guess. I was extremely excited for my date with Ross. He wouldn't tell me anything about where we were going or what we were doing. Rydel helped him plan the whole thing, she even helped me get ready.

"LAURA! IT'S TIME TO START GETTING READY!" Rydel yelled from her room. "OKAY! SHOULD I BRING ANYTHING FROM MY ROOM?" I yelled back. Maybe we should just have called. "NO. NOW GET YOUR BUTT IN HERE."

I closed the door to my room and started walking to Rydel's. I felt arms go around my waist and I was pulled into someone's arms. Ross. He turned me and kissed me softly. I couldn't help but smile as soon as we both pulled back. Rydel called me to her room once again. Ross pressed his warm lips against my forehead and let go of me. Rydel pulled me inside her room.

"First I need to put your hair up." Rydel pulled my hair back into a messy bun. I had no worries at all about letting Rydel get me ready. She always looks super perfect. Well, most of it is just true beauty. Rydel handed me a stretchy headband to hold back my hair.

We walked into the bathroom and she cleaned my face with the skin cleanser. We went back into Rydel's room. She dried my face and started to put some make-up on my face. She curled my hair. I looked in the mirror and didn't see the same person. Rydel made me wear a black skater skirt with a Santa Monica music festival cropped top. I liked Rydel's clothes. I am taking her next time I go shopping.

I slowly walked to Rydel's room. I usually wasn't nervous about going on a date, but I really like Laura. I knocked. Rydel answered. She stepped aside and I saw Laura. She looked beautiful. Truly beautiful. I held out my hand and Laura took it. We walked down the steps and out the door.

I intertwined our fingers as we walked. The sun was almost setting, we better hurry. We finally got to the hill. I sat out a blanket and we sat there. I put my arm around Laura. The sun set was beautiful. Laura smiled the entire time. I put my hand under her chin and pulled her lips towards mine. We slowly pulled back just as the sun went down. I stood up and grabbed her hand. Now we go to the next part of our date.

I asked Rydel to be waiting at the park with the basket. I carried the blanket all the way there. I layed it down and let Laura sit. Rydel came with the basket. I opened it up revealing food. Laura smiled. "This is sweet." I pulled out the food and we started to eat. I didn't make the food, but it was still good anyway. We had pizza and then for dessert, chocolate covered strawberries. There was one strawberry left. "You can have it." I looked directly at Laura. "Come on. We can split it." Laura agreed. I picked it up and fed it to her, afterwards I took a bite.

After finishing the food, we walked home. "Thanks." I smiled. "For what?" We stopped. "For being so amazing that you take me out on a picnic. No guy has ever went to that much trouble to plan out an entirely perfect date for me." She seemed sincere, looking directly into my eyes. I kissed her forehead softly, again grabbing her hand and continuing the walk home.
