{Y/N}'s POV

I, {Y/N}, am special.
My life is boring and haven't gotten anything for years.

No hug, no kiss on the cheek, nothing.

Except for trying my luck on the battlefield, I had no other idea.
For a long time I played only Turf Wars and it was time again to make a ranked battle.
I haven't been in a game for a long time where trufing isn't important at all, so I was a bit nervous today.
I didn't even know what the modes are and I don't know in which rank I am.

Most likely still B and actually ... I was right.
As soon as I looked at my profile of a screen, it stood next to all modes which exist, the letter B.

Today, or rather now, tower control was announced.
The more I wait, the worse I can become, that's logical ... so I went in and searched for teammates.

Since the Inkopolis Square was quite crowded, it went relatively fast, until the Inklings made the lobby full and then we teleported ourselves off towards into the action.

Sturgeon Shipyard was the stage.
One that I completely forgot and we played just against the blue team.

Actually, we wouldn't have to be scared, because the blue legendary team only seems to consist of idiots, if you hear the opinions of the others, but as far as I know, they had already beaten every team of the S4 and that chased me a bit scared.
After all, I know this team and know each member exactly how they play and what their strategy is.

Specs-Kun, who can't see anything without glasses, with his Octobrush Nouveau.
Bobble-Chan with her slosher. Headphone-Chan with the classic squiffer, and finally the leader, stupid as hell: Goggles.

But somehow it seemed strange to me, because as the Battle began, Goggles already looked at me from afar with wide eyes.
My current team, as well as the blue team on the tower, went directly towards to the center.
Turfing the ground into our colour didn't interest us logically and I knew in advance that it will go off immediately.

All of our team were waiting for me because I wanted to go up the one wall and sprayed the wall with my {F/W}.
As I finished, we swam up and hopped off the raised position.

"It's time to scrub you all away" I suddenly heard a voice and immediately felt Specs-Kun's weapon, the Octobrush!

*SLAP*

As soon as I respawned, I immediately swam back into the center in my Ink and I noticed the tower slowly approaching towards our side.

My whole team was eliminated and I was waiting for support because I can't stop the tower alone.
This team isn't so stupid as we all mean ... rather ..... attractive.

They have strategies on it and all these claims were all seemingly just deceptions.
But you could ask differently ...
Are we too bad that we are even worse than they are?
Well ... a question of perspective.

I waited and waited until they finally came.
My team was right behind me, looking down at me as I watched the tower attentively.
"Hey ... no offensive but do you want to lose and watch the tower as it slowly reaches the finish or do you want to take the battle seriously and want to do something?" a female voice asked and the others were in a bad mood as well, as I looked behind me and startled. "No ... I just don't want to get splatted instantly, so I've been waiting for you guys" I said in defense and got up.
