Calum's Perspective

The noise is louder than ever. It's creeping in the cracks of the door. It's loud and clear. It's calling.

I can't end it.

It's coming closer.

It's near.

Too near.

Its louder. I'd say it's at its loudest, but it's even louder than that.

It's closer than before. It's right beside me.

My mind tells me to go closer to the noise. But next second, it's already in me.

It's closer than close. It's ringing in my head.

I tell myself its okay, but the noise is telling me otherwise.

I tell myself it's nothing, but the noise is telling me that it is everything.

I tell myself it's just a noise, but the noise tells me it's not.

It tells me I am the noise. I grab my face. Feeling that nothing has changed. Feeling that I'm alright.

And then silence.

I grab a sticky note, scribbling down words of encouragement. 'It's all in my head.'

But it doesn't help.

I've lost it.

I'm going insane. No. No. What's. Happening. Not now.

I grab my knees, holding them close to me. I rock myself back and forth. Feeling lost. Feeling afraid. Feeling so wrong.

But it felt so right.

The noise appeared again. Its louder. It's ringing in my ears. It's silence. It's everything. It's driving me insane. It's nothing. It's killing me. It's wrong.

It's right.

I have to make Chloe mine.

She has to be mine. No matter what. Chloe is mine.
