THURSDAY - TROUBLE CHILD

"What? So you do like Henry. Why didn't you tell us sooner? I just knew you were gonna like him. Oh you guys would make a very cute couple." Precious was just busy making sure Anna's ears were damaged, while Oma was dumbstruck. Anna had no idea why the girl was surprised because it was her who showed more confidence about Anna falling for Henry. She snapped her fingers in front of Oma's face, getting her attention. Oma closed her eyes and shook her head like those cartoon characters which made Anna want to laugh.
"I really don't know why I am surprised because I expected this. Maybe it's because you liked him this fast. Like WOW. I think he likes you too though." Anna looked at Oma skeptically. Surely her friend was only trying to make her feel good about herself. There was no way someone like Henry would like someone like her. Henry was the real thing, endearing eyes, cute smile, sexy everything. And she, she was just a not so normal girl with extra baggage.
"Anna don't give me that face. I have seen the way he stares at you. For crying out loud girl ever since he saw you he never wants to leave you it is like he can't get enough of you." Anna shook her head. Being clingy was not a way of assuring that someone liked you, it didn't mean that they couldn't get enough of you. He probably just felt pity for her like the rest of the gang or maybe he really wanted a new friend.

Her friends ignored the look on her face and carried on. "So what are you going to wear tomorrow, Kemi is right you know you need to make him drool for you." She choked on the egg roll she was munching on, it was lunch and her friends were doing everything that pertained to eating. The only reason she had told them what had happened in the middle of the night was because she wanted them to help her out of her clutches, not tighten them around her.

She shook her head, she really did not want to dress up. She just wanted to throw in her comfortable clothing, and go to the lesson to learn. The bell rang and she found that she was no longer interested in eating so she gave her remaining egg roll to Precious who only just started eating knowing that if she threw it away, her friend would have been upset. She watched as her friends ate their food very slowly, acting like a teacher could not come into the class at any point and stop their feasting.

Tired of watching the snails eat, she brought out her note book and continued to write from where she had stopped two weeks ago. Story writing was something that managed to keep her sane through the years. It was an important part of her life and every of her manuscript she held dear to her heart. They were like treasures to her and she made sure no harm whatsoever came to them. She began to write down on the book, ideas storming her head as she wrote. She hated typing it up, she was too lazy to do that besides, when she did the ideas that came to mind weren't as the ones that came when she wrote it with a pen and paper. So her sister took it upon herself to type every of her complete story. She was grateful but she did not see the need of that especially when after writing it, she would just drop it in her box where they were safe. She had gotten very lost in writing that she didn't see the teacher walk in, she hadn't even gotten up with the rest of the class to greet her. The Civic teacher had a scowl on her face as she stared intently at Anna.

"Anna!" She called out with so much venom. The oblivious girl reluctantly snapped her eyes from her book to search for who had called her. When her eyes landed on the fuming teacher, she knew she was in for it.
"Get up, get out and report yourself to the principal." She ordered. Anna eyes bulged out, she didn't even know what she did, she didn't understand what she did that was so bad. Maybe the woman had a bad day before. She thought to herself.
"Anna" the teacher called out warningly, her patience running out. Anna picked up her book and her pen and sluggishly walked out of her class to the principal's office which was unfortunately on the same floor with her class. She passed the classes that had bored looking student staring at boring teachers speaking and she had pity on them. On getting to the principal's office, she found it locked and she breathed a sigh of relief. Soon though she sucked it back in, realising that her teacher was probably going to throw a tantrum. She walked to her class and waited for her teacher to notice her presence by the door.
