19: Any Questions?

Yoongi's POV:

Me and Jimin are moved into a consultation room, where we can talk to Hosoek privately, to ask him and questions we may have or any queries.

Of course I have about a hundred questions to ask, so I get started pretty much as soon as the three of us have sat down.

"How did Jimin get pregnant? How is it possible?"

"The same way a woman gets pregnant, some male hybrids are born with female sex organs, which means they can both reproduce, get pregnant and have young. It's the best of both worlds." Hosoek smiles, showing off the dimples in his cheeks.

"How did I not know that? That's pretty important information and yet I had absolutely no clue!"

"Well, you've never cared for a hybrid before, never looked after one and never had any reason to read up on information about hybrids, so it's pretty natural that you wouldn't know a lot about hybrids." He shrugs nonchalantly.

"Are hybrid pregnancies just like human pregnancies?"

"No. They're very different. A hybrids pregnancy lasts for about 7 months full term, a far shorter pregnancy compared to humans. Hybrids will nest throughout the whole of their pregnancy, making safe spaces to put themselves in and you cannot, I will stress this, cannot interfere when Jimin is nesting. It's a natural, instinctive thing for him to do and you interfering will have lasting effects. So don't interrupt him, let him nest, it's very important."

"Will he require any extra nutrients or certain foods to help the young develop?"

"Yes, I will write a prescription for you to collect after this consultation, he will need to take strong vitamins twice a day, as well as folic acid tablets it's gravely important that he takes them regularly, as they prevent the young from suffering with birth defects. I'd suggest getting a pill box to put all his tablets in so they're all together. Set reminders on your phone so you don't forget. Jimin must never miss a dose."

"Anything else I need to know that's different?" I need to know everything!

"I will give you a book all about Hybrid pregnancies on your way out, anything I haven't mentioned in this consolation will be in there. But I can tell you as much now, as you want to know. One very important thing you must know is that Jimin's heats will be far more intense now, even more intense than his first one, so you can never, ever leave him alone. If his heat starts and you're not there... well you know what will happen. I don't want to say it out loud."

"Okay. Shit, this is all a lot more intense than I thought it would be. I work from home, so Jimin will never be on his own, even when I need to leave the house, I'll take him with me. He'll never be on his own. I'll make sure of that."

"You may not have fully understood the severity of this situation prior to this consultation but I hope now, you understand that you will have to stay with Jimin 24/7 which I can safely assume you do anyway. Jimin's due date is roughly in about 4 months time, considering he's having twins, his pregnancy will be shorter than that of a hybrid having just one young. I've booked him in for when I think his due date will be. I'm very apt and accurate with my predictions, so I have no doubts that the day I've booked him in for, will be the day he goes into labour."

Wow.

This really is a lot of information to take in.

I look over to Jimin, sat next to me in silence, swinging his legs back and forth. He looks between me and Hoseok, waiting to hear more information on his pregnancy.

I feel bad talking about him as if he's not even here. He should be involved, he's the one who's having my baby, he's the most important person in the room to me, in the whole world for that matter.

"Jiminie, is there any questions you want to ask?" I speak softly to him, in the hopes that it will spur him on to ask some questions. I know he must have many.

Jimin looks slightly terrified as his gaze rests on Hoseok.

"It's okay, sweetheart, you can ask anything you want to."

"Um... How do I get the baby out of me in 4 months time?"

"Ah! That's a very good question Jiminie! You will give birth to it similar to how a woman would, however, as you don't have a vagina, you will give birth through your anus. Now, if there are any complications during the labour, you can also have a C-Section. Where I cut a small cut into your tummy and take the young out. You won't feel a thing because I'll give you an injection that stops it from hurting and stops you from feeling it. I can get the baby out in 30 seconds if I have to, so you have nothing to worry about, okay?"

Jimin looks a bit scared, but nods nevertheless, comforted but Hosoek's reassurance. He really is an incredible doctor. He makes his patients feel at ease.

"Uh..." Jimin starts to look really uncomfortable, squirming around in his seat, I grow concerned wondering what's wrong.

"Jiminie? What's the matter sweetheart?" I ask, now worried.

Jimin stands from his chair, hastily jogging over to whisper something in Hoseok's ear, both looking at me the entire time.

Hoseok's eyes widen before he lets out a deep chuckle.

"Yoongi, I suggest you take Jimin home right now, his heat is starting and you need to go home and take care of him."

"Right now?!" I shout in shock. This is very sudden!

Jimin nods hesitantly, rubbing his thighs together as he stands in front of me.

"Yoongi you need to take him home right now, I can't stress enough when I tell you his heats will be more intense, they'll last longer and happen more often. He may even have two in one month. I'll have Jimin's prescriptions and the Hybrid Pregnancy Manual delivered to you later on today. There's a taxi waiting for you outside, now go!"

Me and Jimin practically run out of the building, throwing ourselves into the taxi. The taxi driver drives us home fast, thank God, because I can't put up with Jimin's whimpers and cries of pain for much longer.

This is going to be intense, but I know how important it is that I care for him right now.

After all, I know the consequences if I don't.
