I was up studying something I now did to calm my nerves Dylan still wasn't back at school. My anxiety had been messy since the party and hopefully I'd feel better. His brother just told me to give him space and time and that he was dealing with stuff.

But aren't we all dealing with stuff whether we could admit or not?

"Josie what are you doing still up," my mom asks me and sits down on my bed.

"Studying I have a History and Science test tomorrow," I say.

"It's past midnight," she tells me

"Then I have it today," I say and groan.

"You could stay home tomorrow and just make up the test next week," she tells me and then gets up to go back to her room.

"Thank You mom," I say.

"I love you, sweetie," she says and leaves the room.

Tomorrow technically today was Friday and the night of the first football game of the season. I still had mixed feelings about whether or not I should go. All my friends from my old school and my new school were going to be there. But Benyamin might also be there as well and I didn't want to face him.

I then decided to take out my phone and go through Instagram hoping watching edits would make me feel better. But then I came across something Dylan's Instagram. It was new and probably just created but I had to DM him at least and apologize. So I followed him and left him a message hoping he'd read it and forgive me or at least not hate me anymore.

I woke up and felt refreshed and even well enough to go to school despite my mother's wish for me to stay home so I could cool down.

I decided not to wear anything that made me look too confident I was only going to take tests not to impress anyone. I grabbed my phone off the nightstand and opened Instagram only to find that I've been left on read.

My dad then leaves earlier, and I get breakfast from Starbucks and head to school with a smile. I walked in greeted Martin and Lena and then sat to talk with them.

"Hey Josie you're looking different today did you do something with your hair," Martin says, and I hit him in the shoulder.

"Hey I need that arm for tonight's game," he says and then Lena begins to play with my hair.

"Your hair is really pretty," she says.

"Yours too," I say, and she laughs.

Dale then walks in, and I realized I never found time to ask him about Dylan. But like what Dylan's brother said just to give him space.

"My birthday is tomorrow," Lena says, and Martin and I clap

"Hey, Martin I have an idea," I say, and I whisper in his ears.

"That's a really nice idea Josie, but you gotta be there," he says.

"I wouldn't miss it," I tell him and head to my locker I hated that I would have to sit through classes when I needed to do stuff for two.

Maybe I could just stay in the Nurse's office and then leave to take my tests and have my brother pick me up. But then I see Davina, and she says hi to me and then opens her locker and gets paint all over her.

"What the hell!" she yells.

"Who did this," I say and look around it had to be done after school cause I was here all morning.
