Chapter 48

           Ryan's party was tonight and it was going to be a crazy party for sure but I can't let anything stop me having a great summer. I had to straighten my hair and I recently got it trimmed and it took a good 10 minutes off of the time I usually spent doing my hair. I was debating on what to wear due to it being summer but I then decided on wearing a red shirt with white shorts and wearing my black slip on vans.

"Are you ready?" I asked Stasia as she had slept over last night and we were getting ready and Drew was taking us.

"Yep" she said as she wore a blue tie dye shirt with jean shorts and white vans. We both took some selfies and cute pictures and then waited for Drew to pick us up.

"Are you sure you still wanna go to Ryan's party won't it be awkward?" She asks me but I shake my head tonight I was gonna have fun and be carefree.

"I want to go my friends are going to be there and nothing is gonna go wrong come on its summer break" I say and she nods and 5 minutes later Drew pulled up. I sat alone due to Dylan going with Isaac to the party. When we arrived at Ryan's house it reminded me of what happened the last time I was here. I should've change my mind and stay home and watch a movie but nope I was a dumb bitch.

People were talking, dancing, drinking, and kissing each other and there was a lot more than kids from our school. This was sure going to be a wild party but I was already here so I might as well enjoy myself. Me and Stasia went to the dance floor while Drew and his friends were talking and Drew kept an eye on Stasia.

We started dancing and moving our bodies to the music and laughed and then I saw Ryan staring at me and I looked away. I looked around the room and saw Yasmin and Scott together but Scott was drinking a beer.While Davina was playing beer pong with Xavin against some of his friends.

"When are Isaac and Dylan getting here?" I ask Stasia and she shrugs and then grabs bottles of nonalcoholic drinks and hands me one. We both smell it first before drinking it and I then see Isaac. He and some random guy are making out and I have to say I'm curious to know who the guy is. I looked around for Dylan and went outside and found him by the pool.

"Hey there you are" I say and he turns around and smiles.

"The party's inside come on" I say grabbing his hand and he laughs and I start making him dance. He looks hilarious dancing but it looked cute so I don't think anyone would judge him.

"Woah who knew you were the dancer type" He says to me and I laugh and just throw my arms in the air like I'm crazy. I then grab his hand and we walk into the kitchen together and I grab a handful of chips. He puts one in my mouth and I hear girls saying aww.

I rolled my eyes and Dylan laughed at me and hearing him laugh made me feel good  to know that I quite literally saved his life. A year ago I bet he wouldn't have been smiling or laughing like that and it made me realize that he's the love of my life. Tonight I'd tell him how I feel and that's that.

"Josie this is Xavin and that's Josie's boy-- that's her friend Dylan" Davina said as she introduced me to her boyfriend Xavin.

"Hey what's up" he said as he did the nod to me and he and Dylan shook hands.

"Damn kid you got a strong ass grip" he told Dylan and we all laughed.

As they walked off Isaac came stumbling towards us and he was wearing a big smile.

"What's with the face?" Dylan asks him.

"Yeah why are you smiling like that" I say and he chuckles.

"Well this cute guy I met was really into me and we made out" he says and then frowns.

"I wonder if I'll see him again he had to leave afterwards and I could use a good summer romance if not Dylan you'll be my runner up" he said and Dylan looked confused.

"Why me?" He asked.

"Because your cute and we've never kissed and everyone loves a good gay guy turns his best friend gay story" he says and even I have to laugh at that.

"Josie how does Dylan kiss you would know" Isaac says and that's when I realize he's drunk.

"Drink some water" I abruptly tell him and walk off to find something fun to do. I heard screaming outside and then saw someone thrown off the roof into the pool. We all rush to see what it was all about and then this girl emerged from the pool and screamed.

"ITS SUMMERTIME BITCHES!!!" She said and a bunch of people started jumping off the roof into the pool.

Everyone was getting out of control and to be honest it looked fun as fuck and honestly I think for the first time in my life I wanna be reckless.

"Josie" I hear someone say and turn around and see my old friends from my old school coming towards me.

"What are you guys doing here?" I ask kind of weirded out but I kept my chill.

"It was on Snapchat and everyone was allowed to come so we're here" Sammi tells me and I nervously laugh. I go to find Stasia before I feel more uncomfortable around them and I guess I spoke too soon when I bumped into someone on my way inside.
