Davina lies in bed, staring up at the ceiling. Everything she thought she knew was wrong. The Mikaelsons were alive. Well, alive as vampires. If she hadn't been kidnapped by Freya, then she would've been able to see them all again.

They were in Mystic Falls, too. Davina didn't know how long, but they were here. Thinking back to what Stefan and Elena talked about the night before, the Mikaelsons probably weren't the favorite family in town. Honestly, Davina just wanted to go back to that abandoned house and crawl in the coffin. At least then, the only problem she had to worry about was the Mikaelsons' evil aunt using her and Freya as batteries.

Not only were the Mikaelsons vampires, but Elena and her friends want to kill them. Davina didn't know what to think, but she surely didn't want that family dead. Not after everything that happened. Davina gets out of her bed and walks into the hallway. She passes Elena's room and hears her talking on the phone.

"Hey, I-I called you ten times last night. We need to talk," Elena mumbles into the phone. Davina could see Elena sighing after the person on the other end responds. "If you're mad at me, Damon, then you need to get over it." Elena then looks at her phone in annoyance and grabs her coat before walking into the hall. "Oh, Davina. Good morning."

"Don't know if this morning is up to par," Davina replies. "You going somewhere?"

"Yeah, I'm headed over to the Salvatore house. If you want breakfast, I'm sure Alaric made something, so you can help yourself."

"Yeah, okay. Listen, about last night, can we talk?"

"It's not really a good time. There's a lot of stuff we don't know about each other, and I'm thinking it was a mistake to bring you here," Elena tells her quietly.

"Wait, are you kicking me out?"

"No, I...no. We can talk later, okay? Stay here," Elena says before going down the stairs. Davina watches her with a look of exasperation. Not too long after, she also descends down the stairs and enters the kitchen. Alaric is there, making pancakes.

"Looks good," Davina tells him. Alaric shoots her a small smile before depositing one on the plate in front of her.

"They're chocolate chip, which is ten times better than regular pancakes," he says.

"Oh, they smell delicious." Davina begins eating her pancakes while drifting off into thought. "Hey, Ric?"

"Yeah?"

"Are you going anywhere today? I'd just rather not be cooped up in this house all day, especially not to wait for Elena to come back."

"Um, well, me and my friend were planning on going to The Grill later on if you wanted to tag along," Alaric offers. Davina gives him a grateful look and nods.

"That'd be great."

Not too long after Davina finishes up breakfast, the front door opens and Elena enters the house looking annoyed.

"Hey, you're back quick," Davina comments, not looking up from a book.

"Yeah, well, I didn't have much to say. D, you wouldn't mind if I invited Bonnie and my other friend, Caroline, over, would you?"

"Oh, no, go ahead. But you know, sooner or later, we're going to have to talk about what's going on the the Mikaelson family," Davina sighs. "Obviously, there's a lot I don't know."

"We can do that when they arrive. Bonnie and Caroline know all about the Mikaelson family drama."

"So, uh, did you go visit your...are they called boyfriends these days?"
