Bill POV

When Pinetree looked inside the box, I saw tears welling up in his eyes. I was confused at first, I thought he would be happy with the gift, but then I saw that he smiled. "Bill, this is so beautiful" He held up the small object. It was a silver Pinetree with tiny blue stones placed to make it look like the same star constellation as his birthmark. On the back if the necklace, I had written something. I pointed it out to him, and he read it out loud, "you're mine forever, Pinetree." Underneath the writing was a triangle to represent me. It may have sounded a bit creepy, but it had a meaning behind it, and it looked like Pinetree got it.

I took the necklace from him and gestured for him to sit in front me. When he had made his way over after taking out the needle that was puncturing his arm, which I had forgotten about, he sat between my legs on the bed. I opened the clasp on the necklace and placed it around his neck and secured it there. "There you go Pinetree" I said with a smile. As I said that, I wrapped my arms around his painfully thin waist and placed my head in the crook of his neck and nuzzled in closer. I heard him gasp, and I grinned, I loved knowing that I could get him to react like that. "Now, open the other two presents."

The other two presents were opened quickly. One was a blue journal with a pinetree on the outside, placed the same way as the hand on Sixers journals. The pinetree was silver in opposition to the other journals where the hands were a goldish hue.

The second present was a spell book which had every spell I knew that would come in handy for Pinetree, such as a spell for summoning me whenever he needed me.

"Bill, these gifts are wonderful. Thank you so much"

"You're welcome Pinetree" I couldn't hold back any more, so I said what I have wanted to say to him for three years and a half. "Pinetree, I think...." "You think what Bill?" When I looked into his eyes, I couldn't say it, so instead I said "I think you need a proper bath" it was true, he needed to take a real bath. When I was asleep I used magic to make him clean, but it wasn't the same as actually bathing using water. "oh, right" Pinetree sounded a bit disappointed, as if he wanted me to say something else. "Can you help me? I don't know if I am strong enough to do it myself."

Dipper POV

Did I just ask him that? I asked myself as I felt myself blush. It was true though, I could barely move, let alone stand. So it was logical to ask him for help, right?

"Sure Pinetree, I will help you with whatever you need" Bill said with that charming- I mean, normal and in no way attractive grin of his. "Bill, how old are you, anyways" I asked with caution. "oh, let me think" he put his index finger to his chin in a thinking manner and pondered on it for a few seconds. "Well, I would say that I am 17, since when I first turned human right after we made that deal, I was like 14, I think." "So, you aren't that much older than me as human?" "No, I'm not" Awesome.

After Bill had answered my question he picked me up bridal style. Since I wasn't prepared for this, I yelped. I could hear Bill snickering as I blushed from embarrassment.

Bill POV

As I picked up Pinetree, I could hear him yelp. It was so cute, I couldn't help but snicker a bit. Pinetrees cheeks turned a bit red and he looked away from me in embarrassment. When I made my way to the bathroom, I couldn't help but notice how light he felt, it was like I carried a long pillow. I had to do something about that. Unfortunately I couldn't do anything about Pinetrees state with magic, you had to do it the 'old fashioned way'.

While walking I noticed that Pinetree looked around with curious eyes. It looked like he was studying the place, but I couldn't blame him, this was all new to him. When I had arrived at the bathroom, I opened the door and stepped inside. I placed Pinetree on a chair I had there and began to prepare a bubble bath. When I looked up at Pinetree again I could see that he was eyeing the bathtub like it was something sacred that needed protecting. I laughed a little at that and made my way over to him.
