A young doctor from London made a choice that changed her life, and to escape it, she ran away to South Korea.

Now she has a new job, new friends, and a new identity.

As her relationships strengthen, love blooms, and new family are made. But everyday she is haunted by what she did, as she hangs in the balance, waiting for her court sentence to arrive.

IMPORTANT

There is Korean in this book, however, I always write the English translation afterwards, and it's only ever a couple of words at most.

I also DO NOT speak Korean, I just know a few words. I may make mistakes and I apologise for that.

The idea is to create an atmospheric environment for the reader, as the book takes place in Seoul, South Korea.

Korean words you'll see a lot (again in no way am I fluent so I apologise if I use these in the wrong way etc)

- Annyeonghaseyo: Hello

- Omo/Aigo: Omg

- Noona: What a younger male would call an older female

- Unnie: What a younger female would call an older female

- Daepyonim: CEO/Mr bla bla

- Wae: Why

- Ani: No

- Ye: Yes

- Eomma: Mum (used by daughters/sons)

- Eommoni: Mum (used by someone who isn't directly a daughter/son)

- Hajima: Stop

- Gamsahamnida: Thanks

Like I said, I always put the English translation immediately after the words I use!

Enjoy!
