You and Dyl had been together for roughly 9 months now. You've only been public for four. It's been great, well for the most part. The internet did not like the fact that the famous Dylan O'Brien had finally gotten a new girlfriend and for the first 2 months after you had announced being together his fans rapidly came after you.

Calling you every ugly name in the book and slut standing you for know reason. The worst was when pictures of you and your best friend Lyle (who's gay might you add) surfaced and the internet lost it's shit. You were accused of cheating and every news outlet was in nicer words calling you a whore.

Finally Dylan got fed up with everyones bullshit and took to Twitter. He went on a huge Twitter rant about how all this petty drama was bull and you and him were perfectly fine. He said that even though he loved his fans that they should respect his privacy, your privacy, and his realationship with you.

That was 2 months ago and for the most part people have been leaving you alone. Some of his fans have even been making 'edits' of the two of you. You got a kick out of watching them.

You two met on the set of his movie American assassin. One of your songs was featured in the movie and you were given the chance to visit set. You two met and hit it off. You hung out for a month or two before getting together. You just had a connection like no other, you had never felt this before and you had no clue what it was but you never wanted it to end.

Currently you were staying with him in the apartment that was set up for him while he films his next movie The Death Cure.

He works throughout the day and you work from his place. You are slowly rising to the top. Your music was well liked but you are still a young artist and you've only released one album. You were 22, 4 years younger than Dylan but you really didn't care. You've always been very mature for your age and you think that's a good thing.

Right now you are working on writing your 2nd album and things are kinda going okay. You have 5 songs written at the moment and inspiration keeps poping up everywhere.

Things kind of got lonely during the day but you understood , you gotta make a living somehow and he makes his by being a major action star. But when he got home at night he spent as much time as possible with you and when he had days off he almost always spent them with you. He'd take you out or you'd stay in. It didn't really matter to you.

It was currently 11 pm and Dylan was working 'overtime'. You were shot and ready to just go to bed. Usually you'd stay up and wait for him but you were just exhausted and tired. You shot him a quick text telling him you were going to bed and goodnight and you loved him. He replied with and I love you too and you left it at that.

You walked to the room and changed into one of his tee shirts before climbing into bed and shuting off the lamp that was glooming over the room. You were out within minutes

You were woken up to the feeling of Dylan sliding into bed trying not to wake you up. He failed. "Dylan?" You mumbled as he wrapped his arms around your waist and you cuddled into his warmth. "Yeah it's just me, go back to sleep baby." He whispered into your ear before pulling you closer and falling asleep himself.

You were awoken a couple hours later when you felt Dyl jolt up from you. You slowly sat up and looked at the time 3:47am . "Dylan what wrong?" You said touching your hand to his shoulder. He was staring at you like you were the only thing in the world and the next words that came out of his mouth were so vulnerable and small but they ment everything to you.

"You're my best friend...."

You smiled widely and kissed him. "I love you" you said was he smiled back at you. "I love you too"

A/n
I know this one is kinda weird and it really doesn't have a story line but I got inspiration from the song above. There is just something about a person turning to their partner and simply telling them with a sincerity and realness "You're my best friend" that's it, that's when you know that it's forever. That's when you know that the person beside of you is the person you would go through hell for and you know that you never want to leave them. It's more than just love it's an unbreakable bond that can't be touched by anyone else.
But that's just my opinion
