The One That Got Away

Chapter Three

*ring~ring~ring~

Soyoung was woken up by the ring tone on her phone. She checked the clock on the wall only to see it was still early in the morning. She answered the phone which was under the pillow not bothering to look who the caller was and not getting up from the bed.

"Hello." Sooyoung said in annoyed tone, still sleepy.

"Sooyoung!! What are you doing? Did you just wake up? Oh my God! Hurry now!! We have to go somewhere!!" shouting, she already knew who was on the other line.

"Wendy, it's still early for me to get up and go out. Just go alone wherever you want to go. Don't involve me like the last time." Sooyoung commented, letting out a big yawn and still lying on the bed.

"Oh c'mon Sooyoung! Nothing terrible will happen today like the last time, okay? And what happened last week wasn't that bad though. Those guys said sorry." said Wendy.

Yeah, something happened last week. Sooyoung couldn't forget that because it ruined her white dress which she just bought recently. She doesn't know if the laundry shop will be able to remove the stain on her dress that's why she felt a little annoyed after what happened. And, to make it worst, she saw someone she didn't want to see.

"Well, I didn't even hear them apologize." or did they? Sooyoung asked in her thoughts. Maybe she wasn't able to hear it because she quickly walked away from the place that time.

"Whatever. Hurry now Sooyoung. I'm almost near your place." informed Wendy.

Her eyes suddenly opened when she heard that Wendy was almost in her condo.

"Fine. I'm going to take a shower now. Be sure that you brought the spare key to my condo or else I won't be able to open you and you have to wait for me outside since I need to do things as fast as I can now. Bye Wendy~" Sooyoung said, ending the call while hopping off from her bed and headed towards the bathroom.

She chuckled a little knowing that Wendy probably forgot to bring her spare key which she gave to her so that she can easily enter the condo anytime she wants. Even though Sooyoung already gave Wendy the spare key, it's no use at all due to the fact that Wendy is a very forgetful person. Sooyoung hurriedly did her morning thing and after she did some light make up on her face, she heard the doorbell rang and heard Wendy's voice, calling her name.
