Unspoken truth

I'm not gonna out right say that I want to kill myself.
That'd be crazy
That would scare people
That would make it seem like I want people to stop me.
I don't.
Life would continue either way.
I might not blow my brains out.
But what's the difference between that
And smoking
Between that
And not eating for days
Between that
And not sleeping
True, one is faster.
But the latter doesn't worry people as much.
So I'm not going to say that I want to die
That I want to kill myself
All I'm saying is that I just got another pack of smokes.
