Ciel woke up to Alois crying beside him. His eyes widened as he took Alois' hands. "What happened? What's wrong dear?"
Alois looked into his deep ocean blue eyes. "C-Ciel..."
"What is it?" The younger boy asked.
"I dreamt of Luka's death and Claude." He cried harder.
Ciel hugged him. "Sh...it's okay...sh..."
Alois slowly calmed down. "Th-thanks..."
"Of course dear~" Ciel smiled. 'Wheres Sebastian?' He wondered to himself.
Alois looked around. 'Where could he be?'
"I'm going to go look for Sebastian." Ciel said.
"Can I come with you?" Alois asked, sounding somewhat childish.
"S-", Ciel stopped and saw a tea set with a note taped to it. He got up and walked over to it.
"What's it say?" Alois asked.
Ciel read.
'Dear Masters,
Please forgive my absence, but I heard a scream coming from the alley and went to go investigate. I will be back shortly. The tea was freshly prepared. I will dress you both when I return. For now, please enjoy your tea.'
"Really? Why didn't we hear it?" Alois asked questioningly.
"His hearing is superior to ours, and we were fast asleep." Ciel explained. He picked up a saucer and handed it to Alois.
"Thank you." Alois sipped his tea.
Fifteen minutes passed and Sebastian came back.
"I see you received your tea." Sebastian said as he jumped through the window.
Ciel and Alois flinched.
"S-Sebastian! How dare you-!" He stopped when he saw a four year old boy.
Sebastian explained. "This is Francis, he was hurt badly when I found him. He is homeless, his parents are missing."
He looked like a younger Alois. He had blue eyes and blonde hair.
"Francis also has a disease called schizophrenia. He hallucinates and his emotions switch back and fourth quite often. It appears he doesn't like to listen." Sebastian said.
"Why is he unconscious?" Ciel asked.
"He was that way when I found him master." Sebastian said.
"How do you know about his parents?" Alois said suspiciously.
"I sensed it in his soul." Sebastian said, his eyes flashing.
Alois flinched. "S-sorry for d-doubting y-you."
Francis woke up. "Wh-where am I?!"
"You're safe sir." Sebastian said calmly.
Francis didn't know why, but he greatly trusted this man.
Sebastian dressed both earls and then made breakfast.
Francis looked around. 'So big...wow...'
Sebastian finished and put the food on the plates.
Francis smelled it and started running. He tripped and fell down all the stairs. "WAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" He cried.
Sebastian ran to him. "Francis sir?" He gently picked the boy up.
Francis hugged Sebastian and cried on his tailcoat. His knees and elbows were cut and bleeding.
'Oh my!' Sebastian thought as he bandaged the boy.
'He's so nice and pretty.' Francis thought. "Tank chu."
Sebastian smiled comfortingly. "Of course sir."
Time passed and the earls went to bed.
Francis had a nightmare and jumped awake. He looked around for Sebastian. Francis ran into his leg and jumped. "Sorry!"
"Sh...sh...it's just me sir." Sebastian whispered.
Francis hugged his leg tightly. "Tank goodness!"
Sebastian picked him up.
Francis explained his nightmare. "...then he d-died." Francis cried.
Sebastian snuggled him. "Do you wish to sleep with me?"
Francis nodded. "Pwease!"
Sebastian walked to his room carrying Francis. He tucked them in. "Good night sir."
Every time Sebastian said "sir", to Francis it sounded like "son."
"Good night Daddy." He fell asleep.
Sebastian slightly blushed. He actually fell asleep.
