(time skip 2 minutes later)
Ash's face was pale! He had flown on pidgeot, who had just rejoined him, to the airport.
Pidgeot was flying quite high in order to avoid huge gusts on the lower atmosphere! This lead to a lack of oxygen, which resulted in his pale face and could be fatal to someone who had just nearly suffocated to death in a gigantic bag!
Luckily, Ash was able to survive! At some points, pidgeot seemed to be losing strength and seemed like as if it was going to fall, as fast as light and as roughly as a plane in a hurricane, onto the ground. This would had ended in a disaster: Ash dead or badly injured and pidgeot bruised!
Luckily, Ash was able to motivate pidgeot again by encouraging him and telling him his past journeys since Kanto! He told him about how he caught all his jhonto pokemon including the epic charizard vs blastoise and heracross vs magmar battles. Then he told it about he meeting arceus, the god pokemon, and bringing the jewels of life back to it. Eventually, Ash gived a brief overview of his Kalos travels including saving pikachu by jumping of prism tower and meeting frokie, who was now him phenomenon Greninja. There was so much to be said, yet Ash managed to perfectly summarize his journeys! Pidgeot listened with interest and forgot all about the heavy breathing etc!
It was sure hard work for pidgeot and it fainted upon landing at the airport.
It was stone could and.......could it be dead?
Ash was nearly crying!
No, it was still breathing!
Ash let out a sigh of relief!
Ash blamed himself putting pidgeot on such a challenge that required such strength.
Ash was worried, not because of himself in need of desperate speed to reach the plane before takeoff but because of pidgeot. He had made his choice and he was going to stick with it!
There was no way he was going to leave Kanto, his "home", with a fainted pokemon who had worked so hard and so long to get him to the airport! To Ash, Pokemon> the legends league!
Ash cradled Pidgeot in his arms whilst saying:
"It"ll be alright".
Ash knew pidgeot would not be able to here his calming words due to being unconscious but he didn't care. Perhaps his words was a lucky charm, bringing words to life and allowing Ash to reach the pokemon center in time! He hoped that nurse joy would be able to rescue pidgeot!

authors note sorry for not updating in a long time. This is mainly due to exam preparation! I hoped every enjoyed this chapter! Also, from now on, updating time with spread due to, like I said above, exam preparations!
