Ash didn't notice it for most of the time; maybe it was an ally or maybe an enemy.
It was already evening, Ash had been so distracted that he didn't notice that 3 hours had past.
Now the sun was setting; and Ash was thinking about Serena.
Pikachu must have too because it judged Ash and encouraged him to keep going. It knew it had to lead Ash to Serena, it was the only way to finally win this battle; it was the only way to make Ash's heart full.
Pikachu wasn't the jealous type, it was the helpful type!
"Pikachu, thunder bolt"
It was responded with a powerful thunderbolt as welll!
"I won't lose, not yet!" Ash told Pikachu.
Ash had originally planned for only two Pokemon to fight Xurkitree but now he knew that he needed Moreau.
"Go Infernape"
Ash commanded.
Xurkitree, now knowing that it was being slowly overpowered by Ash's Pokemon, decided to set up rain dance so it can fire thunder without missing.
There was storm clouds that started gathering on top of Xurkitree's head and soon it was drizzzling!
This was a good move as Infernape's fire power was also lowered!
Xurkitree clearly knew how to bend the battle to its advantage.
Ash noticed that the Pokemon in the shadows had now moved place.
"Pikachu, iron tail"
Pikachu did as asked and its tail started glowing.
For a moment, Ash thought that he was winning, Xurkitree seemed to be tired. Then, he realised that he had been tricked!
Without a word of warning, Xurkitree used giga impact...
Ash didn't know Xurkitree could have more than 4 moves and certainly didn't know that it could use giga impact.
The impact was huge and sent Pikachu flying whilst buzzwole, who was hurt, was still resting at the side, was also blown of; though it managed to make a comfy landing but flying a bit with its wings. Pikachu managed to stand up and give a encouraging smile, then fell down and was taking out for the round!
Ash hadn't noticed it, but thunder and lightning was striking Xurkitree and storm clouds were building on top of its head.
"It's charging, like zapdos"
Ash cried out surprised.
He was too distracted to have noticed it!
Ash had thought that Xurkitree was already fully charged but he was proven wrong. Due to the energy exposed to it, Xurkitree didn't even have to recharge after using such a powerful move!
It charged at Ash...
Ash had to shield Pikachu and his body from the humongous energy... buzzwole was shielding itself with its arms as well. Ash prepared for his doom.
"You shall die"
Ash heard the voice in his head and realised it was from Xurkitree! The sound was high pitched and ghostly...
SMASH! Ash opened his eyes to find that the roof of the Pokemon center was completely blown of and a giant tree had smashed in and by chance, hit Xurkitree in the head and knocked it unconscious!
Ash noticed that the figure in the shadows seemed to be coming closer towards him. Ash grabbed a beast ball and threw it at Xurkitree, then held his breath and let it go when star appeared on top of the ball and Xurkitree was caught!
Then he turned to the shadowy figure.
"Marshadow, what do you want?"
Ash asked the figure in the shadows. It said nothing

As the ghost/fighting type Pokemon come closer, Ash noticed it was carrrying a script like paper.
It came to Ash.
Then, without a word, it dropped the piece of paper and melted into the shadows.
"What's this?" Ash asked but marshadow was already gone.
"Pika" Pikachu has awoken and was looking at Ash dreaming my.
A rainbow stretched across the sky...
Ash slowly picked up the piece of paper and read it...
"You shall travel south to the land without rain,
Yet to be lost there without rain;
You shall then travel to what you desire most,
And follow where your heart lead to the most.
You will fight the lord of light;
Yet to fail during to fight.
Then you shall fight the Pokemon god who had turned,
And get the lost and make it saftely returned!
In the end, you will win the league that you planned to win;
..."
Ash paused. He give a think;Then he continued reading it.
"Then you will reach your finally goal ..."
He stopped there and decided to read the rest later
