Buzzwole vs Xurkitree

(Time skip the next day)

May had said they were going to execute Ash this evening. Bonnie and Clemont were still far from recovery.

Perhaps it was the soud of Pokemon being tortured next door or simply the urge to complete Arceus's mission and rescue it that made Ash to think of a plan to escape.

Unfortunately, the traitors must have been suspicious because they managed to search out buzzwole and the beast balls. Luckily, the other poke balls were still hidden.

The traitors had apparently taken the beast balls to study and said they were going to create a shadow version of buzzwole. Luckily, from what Ash had overheard, buzzwole was nearly as strong as powerful legendaries and is going to take a long time to turn shadow.

"Seems like as if you die" said a voice. Then holograms of all sorts of fears Ash had appeared.

"Ba ha ha ha ha ha" the voice said.

"May, shit up"

"Well, it's actually Delia"

"WHAT? HOW COULD YPU BETRAY ME AS WELL MOM"

"Don't forget that I have become Max and May's mother due to there own mother not joining them to betray you. Also, you should give up. Norman has also joined and will help make sure you don't escape!"

These words shattered Ash's heart.

He started to weep miserably.

(Time skip evening)

Then, a miracle happened. Ash had gotten over his shock and is trying to break the walls leading to the main electronic system. He knew that he could disable everything from inside there.

Then, ka boom!

Was it raining?

No.

Then what could have caused the sound of lightning?

The it appeared. Ash had first mistook it for a tree with spiky Christmas ball decorations on the edge of the branches: Xurkitree!

An ultra beast!

Ash was powerless. He couldn't send out Charizard or Greninja without raising an alarm and Genesect wasn't effective toward it. Also, the traitors would take Genesect away because it is a mythical Pokemon that they want.

Ash also had his beast balls taken away.

Dam! He thought.

Then there was a ZAP! The walls to the lab blasted open!

"Ash, how dare you-" Misty started.

Xurkitree suddenly give out a huge discharge which shocked Ash and Misty. Misty seemed to take the most damage though. Mable it was because she was a water type trainer and her skin has grown moist after being hit by so much water type moves. 

"Help!" Misty shouted.

Brock immediately came and caught Misty.

"My lov -" Brock couldn't finish the last word.

Ash slapped him.

"Don't you realise e will all die to this" said Ash, pointing to Xurkitree!

Xurkitree response with a wild charge.

Ash seemed ok but Brock fainted. Maybe this was due to Ash being used to high voltage shocks from Pikachu.

"Pikachu..." the thought bought him the thought of his still missing pal: Pikachu.

"At least I found Clemont and Bonnie" Ash tried to comfort him self.

Ash needed Pokemon.

His first thought was to send out Charizard, Greninja and Genesect but Arceus has warmed not to because the ultra beasts were getting tougher as necrozma absorbed light and power.

The Xurkitree's aura bursted to life.

Ash knew one thing: run and free buzzwole.

Buzzwole was an ultra beast. It might stand a chance. Also, it didn't have a big type disadvantage.

Buzzwole was trapped in a tube, slowly turning shadow.

Ash knew one thing: he needed to rescue it. He couldn't stand the traitors mistreating Pokemon any more!

Ash ran to the tube.

The traitors didn't stop him. Perhaps they were too shocked or perhaps the were shocked by the ultra beast (double meaning of shock intended here).

Ash saw the buttons: stop transformation?

Ash pressed it. Immediately, the machine's light dimmed and buzzwole wasn't slowly turning blackish anymore.

Ash pressed the button: open.

The test tube opened with a crack and buzzwole came out.

It was defiantly stronger due to being half shadow but it's heart was still pure.

Buzzwole immediately cried in triumph. It loved being free!

Buzzwole fires bug buzz at one of the traitors and the traitor hit fell of the ground, a wound on his body. Buzzwole clearly didn't like the traitors.

"Buzzwole, you and I share many differences, yet we do have one that is similar: the hatred to the traitors and to be free" Ash pointed out.

"XURKITREE REE!"

There was a sudden war cry and buzzwole and Xurkitree charged at each other.

Ash tried to command buzzwole. It was too enraged to listen.

Buzzwole got zapped by a thunder bolt. It responded with horn leech to take health of Xurkitree and heal itself.

Xurkitree used electro web to trap buzzwole.

Ash ran to it and tried to free it.

Buzzwole, however, knocked Ash back.

Ash thought it thought Ash as one of the traitors. Ash tried to explain.

"I know you aren't as you saved me, get lost. I am trying to protect you!"

A deep voice said in Ash's head.

This time, Ash did as he was told.

He wondered why the two ultra beasts were fighting. Perhaps they had a natural hatred of each other or perhaps it was another reason.

Suddenly, Xurkitree sent an shockwave towards Buzzwole.

The shockwave, was black!
